After the postponement of this year's Tokyo Olympics, Germany has called off Oktoberfest set to take place between September 19 and October 4. With Germany struggling to contain Wuhan coronavirus, "the risk is simply too big," Bavarian state Prime Minister Markus Söder said while announcing his decision. "To live with coronavirus means to live carefully till there is a vaccine or a medicine," he added.

The Wuhan coronavirus is doing a lot of damage not just to those afflicted and their families, but to our economy.  As is typical in the face of crisis, the unscrupulous are eager to take advantage.  We're hearing the "usual" reports of price-gouging and even horror stories about some landlords soliciting sex in exchange for rent. There have also been in recent weeks a flurry of warnings issued by Wall Street regulators, governors, the FBI, the IRS, and other officials about a range of scams and fraud being perpetrated across our country.

We have written a lot about how anti-Israel activists routinely hijack causes, events, and crises unrelated to Israel, using "intersectional" theory to turn those issues against the Jewish state. That phenomenon is playing out again with the coronavirus pandemic, providing the 'usual suspects' with yet another issue to exploit.

Americans are dying, losing their family members and friends, and facing economic ruin. Trump-obsessed Democrats see nothing but a new opening to investigate Trump. This is all they care about. This is all they will ever care about. Democrats clearly have no idea what kind of anger this could unleash.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Monday slammed Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei for spreading the conspiracy theory that blamed the U.S. for the Coronavirus outbreak. "Khamenei's fabrications that the US is responsible for the Wuhan Virus [COVID-19] put Iranians, Americans, and the rest of the world at risk. Facts matter," Pompeo wrote on Twitter.
