We keep hearing the media insist that they are not blinded by partisanship and bias, that they are not purveyors of #FakeNews, yet we also keep seeing the evidence pile up that they are not only biased #FakeNews peddlers but that they appear to be intentionally fanning the flames that are fueling leftist #Resistance mobs.

From Big Tech taking orders from the questionable SPLC to the Big Tech coordinated removal of Alex Jones from social media, from YouTube "fact-checking" climate change materials and PragerU to Facebook and Twitter shadow-banning and/or suspending conservative and right-leaning voices, Big Tech has been in full censorship mode in recent months. Their targets are almost exclusively Republicans, conservatives, and those who identify as right-leaning. President Trump came out strongly against Big Tech, stating that "Social Media is totally discriminating against Republican/Conservative voices. Speaking loudly and clearly for the Trump Administration, we won’t let that happen."

President Donald Trump seethed on Twitter this morning over the fact that his former lawyer Michael Cohen taped their private conversations and send it to the press. CNN received a tape from Cohen with the two men discussing how to obtain a story from former Playboy model Karen McDougal about her alleged affair with Trump a decade ago.

The leftstream media went into full meltdown mode Friday after President Trump tweeted that he was looking forward to the jobs report. With the speed of the ace reporters of yore leaping into action when an actual story breaks, they all leaped to their keyboards and tapped out stories about how Trump "broke protocol," may have broken a federal rule, may be guilty of insider trading or "worse," was "indiscreet with confidential information," and on. And on.

Donald Trump's Twitter account sets the news cycle. One year ago, on May 31, 2017, Trump issued his famous "Covfefe" tweet.

No one is defending Roseanne Barr's tweet about Valerie Jarrett, but you cannot deny the double standard that exists in Hollywood. Bob Iger, the CEO of ABC's parent Disney, personally called Jarrett to apologize. Roseanne is now beginning to defend herself, asserting one tweet shouldn't ruin a lifetime of work:

As we noted yesterday, the leftstream media is busily trying to spin the Obama FBI's spying on the Trump campaign. Today, President Trump has announced that his will formally demand that his DOJ investigate "whether or not the FBI/DOJ infiltrated or surveilled the Trump Campaign for Political Purposes - and if any such demands or requests were made by people within the Obama Administration!"

Iran has stirred the pot even more with Israel by threatening the Jewish state after an airstrike on Monday killed several Iranian military personnel at an air base near Homs, Syria. Reuters reported that Israel faces even more security concerns over the possibility of US airstrikes in Syria after President Donald Trump threatened Russia over its support of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad.

A chemical attack in Syria has left dozens dead.  Assessment is on-going, so reports vary as to how many people were killed.  Early reports say that at least 42 people were killed, with hundreds in need of medical care.  The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is reporting that over 70 civilians were killed. According to reports, the victims of Saturday's chemical attack showed signs of chlorine and nerve agent poisoning. President Trump has responded vigorously on Twitter, tagging Syria's president "Animal Assad" and reminding us that Obama's 2013 empty "red line" threats against Syria's use of chemical weapons emboldened the Russia-supported regime.

The pace of media frenzy and #TheResistance howling has picked up lately, particularly in the wake of the firing of Andrew McCabe. But this frenzy is just a variation on a theme.

President Trump needs to keep both the House and the Senate in order to fulfill even more of his campaign promises and to get more of his agenda passed.  However, things have not been going well for the GOP in special elections since Trump's own election. Recognizing how important Congressional majorities are to his Make America Great Again agenda, President Trump intervened in Nevada, convincing Senator Dean Heller's primary challenger to drop out so that Heller can focus on beating the Democrat without first getting beaten up by his own party's primary candidate.

"Liddle' Adam Schiff, the leakin' monster of no control" might be Trump's best nickname yet. But nicknames aside, Trump gave Rep. Adam Schiff, his Russia/collusion arch nemesis a backhanded compliment Sunday. Friday, the Department of Justice indicted 13 Russian nationals and 3 Russian entities. The DOJ also concluded that there was no willing or knowing collusion between an American citizen and Russian operatives nor did Russia's feeble efforts to disrupt the 2016 election move the dial in any meaningful way.

Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) is the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, and he appears to be playing a dangerous game with the Democrat rebuttal to Republican memo written by Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA).  Released last week, the Nunes memo alleges that the FBI under Comey and Obama used questionable means to obtain FISA warrants on at least one member of then-candidate Trump's campaign team. The House Intelligence Committee voted to release the Nunes memo, and the White House insisted on redactions after consulting with the FBI and others in the intelligence community.
