Emails released from Hillary Clinton's Secretary of State cache show Google executives interest in Syria. Jared Cohen, Head of Google Ideas at the time contacted the State Department in 2012 about a project that encouraged Syrian government defectors. Google planned to work with Al Jazeera to disseminate their defector map. The email reads:
Please keep close hold, but my team is planning to launch a tool on Sunday that will publicly track and map the defections in Syria and which parts of the government they are coming from. Our logic behind this is that while many people are tracking the atrocities, nobody is visually representing and mapping the defections, which we believe are important in encouraging more to defect and giving confidence to the opposition.

While speaking to Hillary supporters in Salt Lake City this week, Chelsea Clinton was asked by an attendee if her mother would extend Obamacare benefits to people in the country illegally. Naturally, she said yes. Thomas Lifson of the American Thinker:
Chelsea Clinton reveals her mom thinks it is ‘important’ to extend Obamacare to illegal aliens So any family that can ante-up plane fare for the kids and one or more parent to JFK, Miami, Los Angeles or any other international terminal, or that can sneak across the border, is here to stay, once Hillary becomes president. And in addition to all the other goodies this country bestows upon people with low incomes, now the $600k a year former NBC correspondent Chelsea Clinton has declared that Obamacare will be extended to illegals.

Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren blatantly dodged simple questions from CBS News reporters this week who wanted to know why she hasn't endorsed a Democratic candidate and if she believed Hillary Clinton should release the transcripts of her speeches to Goldman Sachs. Could she be angling for the position of Hillary's VP? Inquiring minds want to know. Nick Gass of Politico has the details:
Warren won't say whether Clinton should release Goldman Sachs transcripts Sen. Elizabeth Warren declined multiple opportunities on Thursday to say whether Hillary Clinton should release the transcripts of her paid speeches to Goldman Sachs and other financial institutions.

The House's Select Committee on Benghazi was created with bipartisan support to investigate the 9/11 attacks on the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi. Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State at the time. A former committee staffer alleged he was wrongfully terminated for refusing, "to conduct a partisan probe of the former secretary of state," reports Politico. Now, Bradley Podliska is changing his tune. From Politico:
Last October, an ex-GOP Benghazi Committee staffer filed a lawsuit against the panel, claiming he was wrongly fired for refusing to center his investigation on Hillary Clinton — an accusation Clinton’s defenders held up as proof that the panel had devolved into a political witch hunt.

In late February we reported that the court in the FOIA case seeking State Department records as to Huma Abedin granted Judicial Watch's motion for discovery, and required Judicial Watch to submit a discovery plan:
In a ruling sure to keep the Hillary Clinton email scandal alive through the summer, if not longer,  a federal just has granted Judicial Watch the right to take discovery as to whether Hillary’s home server was part of an effort to evade the Freedom of Information (FOIA) law by shifting federal records off-site and into the sole control of Hillary, her attorney’s and consultants.... Given the difficulty of obtaining records, particularly in light of the destruction of at least some records maintained on Hillary’s home server, led Judicial Watch to seek discovery, including depositions of key officials. Such discovery is not routine in FOIA cases, and good cause needs to be shown to obtain discovery.... The Court granted the motion today, via two Minute Orders (meaning orders reflected on the court docket sheet, not separate documents:

Hillary Clinton is apparently planning to continue President Obama's war on coal if elected. She said as much at a CNN town hall event on Sunday night. The Daily Wire reports:
Hillary Pledges To Put Coal Miners Out Of Business Promising to kill the coal industry and its jobs via regulation and taxation if elected President, Hillary Clinton called for economic revitalization via the creation of an industry for “clean renewable energy" as a substitute. Speaking at the CNN-hosted Democratic town hall event in Columbus, Ohio, Clinton sanctioned the narrative of anthropogenic global warming in calling for the cessation of consumption of fossil fuels.

While early reports of a potential Hillary VP pick centered on former San Antonio mayor Julian Castro, top Democrats in the (increasingly large) progressive wing of the party are reportedly rallying behind a relatively unknown, but reliably progressive, Tom Perez to run as Hillary's VP. Who is Tom Perez? Listen: Politico reports:
Aside from the wonkiest of Washington circles and the most progressive corners of the left, no one’s heard of Tom Perez. He isn’t young or handsome. He has zero foreign policy experience. The highest office he’s been elected to is a suburban county council. Yet the labor secretary has emerged as a sleeper pick for vice president, with chatter building among top Democrats — including Elizabeth Warren.

Chris Matthews of MSNBC famously said during the 2008 presidential election that Obama sent a thrill up his leg but he's not feeling the same magic for Hillary in 2016. Steve Guest reports at the Daily Caller:
MSNBC’s Matthews Laments Hillary Doesn’t Give Him ‘Thrill Up The Leg’ [VIDEO] MSNBC’s Chris Matthews said Hillary Clinton in 2016 “can’t match” President Barack Obama’s oratory skills that gave him the “thrill up the leg” in 2008.

We all remember Hillary Clinton's, along with assorted Obama administration officials', televised assertions that the Benghazi attacks that left four men—an American ambassador (Christopher Stevens), two former Navy SEALS (Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty), and one embassy aide (Sean Smith)—brutally murdered in a terrorist attack was the result of an anti-Islamist video. As of the most recent Democrat debate, Hillary is still standing by that assertion and even going so far as to imply the Benghazi victims' families are lying about what she told them. Following Hillary's repeated assertions that the video was the cause of the "spontaneous" attack on the Benghazi compound and the subsequent revelations that the attack was neither spontaneous nor the result of a video, the victims' families came forward with the information that Hillary had told them that the video was to blame long after she knew that not to be the case. Watch one victim's mother express her outrage at Hillary for lying to her:

We know that Brayan Pagliano has cut an immunity deal with the feds. The first of what I see as a multi-level roll-up of those around Hillary to prove, at minimum, a conspiracy to evade the FOIA laws, and at worst, serious national security criminal violations. Katherine Herridge, who has been the top reporter on the story, reports, Source: Clinton IT specialist revealing server details to FBI, 'devastating witness':
Former Hillary Clinton IT specialist Bryan Pagliano, a key witness in the email probe who struck an immunity deal with the Justice Department, has told the FBI a range of details about how her personal email system was set up, according to an intelligence source close to the case who called him a “devastating witness.” The source said Pagliano told the FBI who had access to the former secretary of state’s system – as well as when – and what devices were used, amounting to a roadmap for investigators.

Conservative author, speaker and filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza has a new movie coming out in July of this year and as you'll see in the official trailer below, it's going to examine the racist and corrupt beginnings of the Democratic Party as well as his own incarceration for violating campaign finance law. FOX News has more:
Dinesh D'Souza releases trailer for 'Hillary's America' film Political commentator Dinesh D'Souza released the trailer for his upcoming film "Hillary's America" on Saturday during his presentation at CPAC.

Never change, MSNBC. After Sunday night's CNN Democratic debate, MSNBC reporter Kristen Welker either could not or did not hear studio anchor Ari Melber telling her she was live and on the air. Unbeknownst to Welker, her mic was on, which allowed the entire broadcast audience to hear Welker feeding questions to Jen Palmieri, Hillary Clinton's Campaign Director of Communication.
