I wasn’t going to do an Elizabeth Warren post today.  Really.

But in my in-box was a link to this story at The Boston Herald, Elizabeth Warren shuts door on Herald’s inquiry (video at the link):

Senate hopeful Elizabeth Warren, in a sequel to an awkward on-camera encounter this week about her claim to...

Alan Colmes appears to be going the Ed Schultz route and practically begging Elizabeth Warren just to come clean.

Like Schultz, Colmes still is a supporter, but feels a pain from Warren twisting in the winds which have come sweeping off the plains of Warren’s obfuscation and deception.

Mary Sanchez, a columnist for...

A number of readers forwarded me the link to an article about Scott Brown’s demand that Harvard correct its filings with the Labor Department to remove Elizabeth Warren’s listing as a Native American.  Reader Tom wrote:

Professor:

Senator Brown’s now taking on HARVARD in his campaign. It’s become middle America vs. the Elites...

While Elizabeth Warren is doing well in the polls, her story about not promoting herself as Native American for professional purposes continues to fall apart.

Michael Patrick Leahy, writing at Breitbart.com today, links to an article in the Spring 1993 issue of the student-run Harvard Women’s Law Journal, when Warren was a visiting professor at Harvard Law.  (Side...

She’s digging in, bolstered by headlines that much of the electorate doesn’t care, via MassLive:

Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren said Thursday that she knows she has Native American ancestry because her mother told her so.

Warren’s comments came after nearly four minutes of tense back and forth between Warren and Fox 25...

Will Elizabeth Warren escape accountability for telling what at best were tall tales and at worst lies about her Cherokee heritage?

Will Warren get away with using her mystical heritage strategically to advance her career in a crafty way which provided her with (im)plausible deniability?

Will the use and abuse of the Cherokee...

Blogger Bernie Quigly at The Hill, in what now is a classic, raises a novel defense, Elizabeth Warren’s true American lineage:

Elizabeth Warren might be excused for wanting to be Native American. She can claim an old American soul, going back generations in Oklahoma. In  the heartland it is almost universal for those...

That seems to be the attitude of Massachusetts Democrats, as reported by The Boston Herald:

Bay State Democrats are standing by their woman, saying they’re confident in embattled Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren — now three weeks into a persistent scandal over her claims of Native American heritage — though critics say she’ll...

I have few original thoughts on the fake twins who cannot bear the unbearable burden of bearing fairly boring genealogy and upbringing in middle and upper middle class Amerika.

I feel your feign, man and woman.

There is zero evidence that Elizabeth Warren is Cherokee, despite her having touted such heritage at various times, and she stands by that claim in the face of contrary evidence.

Today, Megyn Kelly of FOX News interviewed Cherokee genealogist Twila Barnes about Elizabeth Warren’s claims to Cherokee heritage.

Legal Insurrection has been breaking news on Warren’s false claims, including extensive coverage of the genealogical records.

In the interview with Kelly, Barnes says, “there’s nothing to indicate she’s Cherokee. Her family is found nowhere...

Or perhaps more appropriately, like peeling back The Onion.

Please say this is not soooooo!

I could not figure out how Warren found that obscure text.  Now we know, she submitted recipes to it, identifying herself as Cherokee.  I wonder...
