Sirhan Sirhan is the man who shot Robert F. Kennedy, brother of President John F. Kennedy, in 1968. RFK died the day after the shooting. Sirhan was tried and sentenced to death. Years later, Sirhan's sentence was commuted to life in prison. Now he is going before the parole board for the 16th time and Los Angeles prosecutor George Gascón is not going to oppose.

Michael Avenatti, the Stormy Daniels lawyer, held up as a hero by the media under Trump, is now facing real prison time following his conviction for extorting Nike. Back in December of 2016, a building in Oakland, California burned in a massive fire. The warehouse building had been taken over by a collective of artists and musicians, some of whom were living in the building illegally. Now the main leaseholder, who has been held responsible for the blaze, has been sentenced to spend the remainder of his 12 year sentence in home confinement. Families of the victims are outraged.

Bruce Davis was a member of the Manson Family cult who participated in the torture and murder of Gary Hinman in 1969. Davis has now been recommended for parole, and the move has the support of new Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón. Like many progressive DAs across the country who won with the financial backing of left-wing billionaire George Soros, Gascón operates more like a high priced defense attorney than a prosecutor.

Kyle Rittenhouse, a teenager who is charged with murder in a shooting during Kenosha, Wisconsin, riots, has been freed on $2 million bail.
