2020 Presidential Election Tag

On Saturday, supporters of President Trump gathered in Washington DC to protest an election that certainly looks suspect and to support the candidate they believe lawfully won. While we don't yet have an official attendance tally for the #MillionMAGAMarch, it is abundantly clear that thousands, perhaps tens—or even hundreds—of thousands, rallied to support Trump and his efforts to have every legal vote counted.

Less than a week after the mainstream media arbitrarily declared the Democratic candidate the winner of the U.S. presidential race, Communist China has congratulated Joe Biden on his electoral 'victory.' Recognizing Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris as the "choice of the American people," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin on Friday congratulated "Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris."

There is fierce competition for the position of dumbest talking head over at MSNBC. Lawrence O'Donnell, Chris Hayes, Mika Brzezinski, and Nicolle Wallace put up a great fight for the prize on a regular basis, but Joy Reid consistently outshines all of them in this coveted category. A recent tweet from Reid about the meaning behind "538" in the name of the polling outfit "FiveThirtyEight" should be framed and hung on a refrigerator somewhere.

There is a lot of litigation regarding election fraud. Some of it is significant, some of it small ball, but it all needs to work it's way through the legal system. The allegations are serious and pervasive; whether they are successful remains to be seen.

Twitter really really doesn't want anyone to read this article, "Joe Biden’s votes violate Benford’s Law (Mathematics)."  In fact, if you tweet it, you will be locked out of your account, not-so-subtly accused of being some kind of pervert, required to remove it, and have a Twitter message slapped on your page for 14 days as shaming 'punishment.'

There is a lot of usual inside-the-beltway conventional nonsense analysis and bluster going around about the elections. Ignore it, it's the same dishonest take we've seen in the mainstream media and polling organizations for years.

As former President George W. Bush and Sen. Mitt Romney fall over themselves to congratulate Biden and call for the nation to "get behind" him, Mexico's President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador says he is waiting until all legal challenges are completed before congratulating a winner in this year's presidential election.
