Music to our ears! Failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told CBS Sunday Morning that she is through with being a candidate:
Clinton says her career as an active politician is over but says she will stay involved politically. "I am done with being a candidate. But I am not done with politics because I literally believe that our country's future is at stake," she said.

The longer Hillary insists on staying in the public eye, the more she rattles the already beleaguered Democrat Party. Democrats are not happy with Hillary's upcoming book tour for her memoir What Happened. As the party tries to regroup and reconnect, many think Hillary's blame game will only cause more problems.

People have leaked excerpts from failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's memoir What Happened, which will be released on September 12. In these excerpts, Hillary lashes out at her primary opponent Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) for his actions, which she claims caused "lasting damage" to the party due to his numerous attacks on her.

A report from Politico shows that national security officials warned former President Barack Obama of Russian interference in Western political systems, including the United States. Politico reported:
As early as 2014, the administration received a report that quoted a well-connected Russian source as saying that the Kremlin was building a disinformation arm that could be used to interfere in Western democracies. The report, according to an official familiar with it, included a quote from the Russian source telling U.S. officials in Moscow, "You have no idea how extensive these networks are in Europe ... and in the U.S., Russia has penetrated media organizations, lobbying firms, political parties, governments and militaries in all of these places."

I appeared this morning on the Sandy Rios in the Morning on American Family Radio. I've appeared on Sandy's show before, and I appreciate that she gives me plenty of time. The segment is 30 minutes long. We talked about several topics, all surrounding Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and Trump's related frustration with Attorney General Jeff Sessions for recusing himself from anything related to Russia. There are plenty of Democrats who believe to this day that George W. Bush stole the 2000 election. Just as many if not more believe that Republicans stole a seat on the Supreme Court from Merrick Garland.

Former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson testified before the House Intelligence Committee over the Russia probe into possible interference and collusion into our presidential election. Last summer, the Democrats accused the Russians of hacking into their system after a trove of emails appeared on Wikileaks. But Johnson told the committee that the DNC didn't want DHS's help with the investigation.

An estimated 6.7 to 9.2 million Americans who voted for Obama switched to Trump in 2016, and the Democrats have no true understanding of why that happened.  They have largely avoided serious introspection about their loss last November, let alone about the massive losses they accrued during Obama's two terms in office. The result is Party-wide confusion and incomprehension that has manifested as seething anger, lashing out at anyone and everyone, and plowing forward with an agenda that the majority of the American people simply do not want. In her latest round of excuses for losing this week, Hillary Clinton laid blame at the feet of the Democratic National Committee. People at the DNC are not happy about it and are pushing back. Amber Athey reports at the Daily Caller:
DNC Data Director: Hillary Claims Are ‘F**king Bulls**t’ The former director of data science at the Democratic National Committee blasted Hillary Clinton on Twitter after she tried to blame the DNC for her electoral defeat. Clinton claimed Wednesday that the DNC fell far behind the RNC in terms of voter and data analysis, saying the DNC’s data was “mediocre to poor, nonexistent, wrong.”

Speaking at a tech conference in California this week, Hillary Clinton launched into another diatribe about the forces which conspired against her in the 2016 election. In the process, she referred to her very real email scandal as a "nothing burger." Douglas Ernst writes at the Washington Times:

As we've been discussing a lot lately, the media is in the middle of an attempt to bring down the Trump presidency. Call it a coup, a slow-motion coup, or whatever you want. False stories and conspiracy theories are invented and rolled out daily based almost entirely on anonymous sources for the obvious purpose of freezing the administration, enabling corrupting leaks from the bureaucracy, and making it impossible to govern.

The National Popular Vote movement's primary function is to bypass the Electoral College (EC) by getting states to change their allocation of EC votes, automatically awarding them to whomever wins the national popular vote in a general presidential election. This allocation is based on national popular vote and completely subsumes party affiliation.  Therefore, Florida (my state) which narrowly went, along with its 29 EC votes, to Trump in 2016 would instead have gone to Hillary, who won the national popular vote and 227 of the 270 EC votes needed to win the election. In light of the 2016 election, this proposal takes on a whole new element of horror.  With Democrats having a lock on urban, heavily-populated areas, this could be catastrophic for the average American voter who does not live in—or share the ideology of—large concentrations of regressives and assorted leftists.  That's the whole point, of course.

Failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton keeps blaming FBI Director James Comey for losing to President Donald Trump despite tons of evidence proving her wrong. The American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) has produced more evidence that contradicts Hillary claims after she, once again, whined that Comey cost her the election. AAPOR wrote (emphasis mine):
Based on Figure 6, it appears that Clinton’s support started to drop on October 24th or 25th. October 28th falls at roughly the midpoint (not the start) of the slide in Clinton’s support. What’s more, the lag between when interviewing was conducted and when tracking poll results are released means that the slide in Clinton’s support probably began earlier than estimates in Figure 6 suggest. For example, the ABC News/Washington Post estimate of a tied race on October 31 was based on interviews conducted October 28-31. The IBD/TIPP estimates are based on interviews conducted during the six days prior to the date shown. Factoring in this lag, it is reasonable to speculate that Clinton’s slide began as early as October 22 or 23. There were no notable campaign events on either of those days, though the announcement that Obamacare premiums will increase occurred roughly around that time (October 25th).

Following revelations that Susan Rice sought the unmasking of Americans purportedly caught up in incidental surveillance, Rice is on Congress' short list of persons to testify on Russian hacking.  She has, through her attorney, declined Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC)'s request to do so. CNN reports:
Obama's former national security adviser, on Wednesday declined Sen. Lindsey Graham's request to participate in a judiciary subcommittee hearing next week on Russian interference in the US election, CNN has learned.
