Remember the BP boycott? Apparently, this owner does not even though his vehicle has a "Boycott BP" sticker on it.  The gas was probably a penny cheaper than the boycott-free stations down the street. From reader John: I spotted this guy filling up at a BP station in...

I'll have updates on tonight's primaries if anything interesting happens. But since I'll be sitting in a dark room with the door locked and the window shades drawn imagining it's 1971, please only disturb me if it's really important, like if it turns out Obama ate...

SB 1070, the Arizona immigration law, is on for oral argument tomorrow at the U.S. Supreme Court.  Justice Elena Kagan recused herself.  If there is a 4-4 split, the 9th Circuit decision enjoining key part of the law stands. My prior posts for some background: Arizona Law...

On Monday morning I noted that the mainstream media had taken not a bit of notice of Mia B. Love, or her victory at the Utah Republican convention on Saturday. No more. Yahoo News has a feature article on her, Mia Love: black, conservative, Mormon, GOP House candidate...

On May 1, Carbonite will release its 1st Q 2012 results after the close of the markets, and will host an investor conference call. At that time, we may get the first glimpse into whether and to what extent Carbonite's famous March 3, Saturday night jettison of...

Now they tell us. Jeffrey Goldberg, Let the Shuttle’s Demise Awaken Gingrich’s Space Dreams (h/t Byron York): The morning of April 17, on the tarmac at Reagan National Airport: The Delta (DAL) shuttle to LaGuardia appeared to be No. 287 in line for takeoff. The plane was full,...

Dick Lugar touts his foreign policy expertise and influence, something which Brian Bolduc at National Review today finds is suspect. One thing Lugar does not tout is that he joined Harry Reid in 2007 in announcing that the surge in Iraq was not working and should be stopped. Reid's...

Which came first, the terrorism or the war? From reader Jonathan in Boston: I'm a long-time reader of your blog. Please keep up the good work! I spotted these bumper stickers on my way to school today. You would think I would be immune to this after 3...

There is a war on women, but they will not talk about it in the media, academia, or in politics (h/t HotAir): So: Yes, women all over the world have problems; yes, the United States has yet to elect a female president; and yes, women continue...

I think the Richard Mourdock campaign finally has hit on a theme which needs repeating. Richard Lugar is running a desperate campaign, trying to distract from his record and to conjure up bizarre claims against Mourdock, such as the "Confederate Tie," and false and misleading claims...

I'm not jumping on the anti-Orrin Hatch bandwagon, and not making his primary race part of Operation Counterweight. Orrin Hatch is no Dick Lugar. ...

Mia B. Love won a historic nomination at the Utah Republican convention on Saturday to run for Congress in the newly-created 4th Congressional District. Love was the first black woman elected mayor in Utah's history, is the first black woman nominated for Congress in Utah, and if elected to Congress, would...
