Joy Reid’s Ratings Tank as Rumors Swirl That Her MSNBC Days Are Numbered

According to one source, “The decision has been made. The only thing left is how to do it.” – “Comcast executives understand the blowback this will cause and are preparing to answer it.”

For conservatives, the month of April has been like something out of a dream.

CNN’s recently-launched streaming service CNN+, which was little more than a paid version of their struggling cable news channel except with Chris Wallace at the helm, disintegrated in less than a month.

New York State’s Court of Appeals just threw out a Democrat gerrymandered map which they said was “drawn with an unconstitutional partisan intent.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed the “Parental Rights in Education” bill and “Stop WOKE” act in recent weeks and also brought “woke” Disney to heel – at least for the time being.

A federal judge ruled that the CDC’s federal mask mandate for public transportation “was outside the CDC’s authority, and ruled against the Biden administration’s mask mandate.”

Most notably, Elon Musk and Twitter have entered into a “definitive agreement” to sell the social media platform to the billionaire investor/businessman. The reactions from triggered Twitter leftists – which are still ongoing – to the news have been pure comedy gold.

Conservatives who might be thinking, “it doesn’t get any better than this,” might be in for another surprise soon, as the rumors continue to swirl that Joy Reid’s days at MSNBC are numbered:

News Cycle Media’s Nicosia also noted that “things like this and the lawsuits about to be filed will be part of Comcast’s reasoning,” with the “this” being the fact that Reid’s ratings, which saw a post-Trump decline just like CNN did, have tanked big time on several fronts:

MSNBC host Joy Reid’s “ReidOut” finished April with its smallest monthly audience in the far-left program’s nearly two-year history.

“ReidOut” averaged 1.1 million viewers during the news-heavy month, a 31% decline from April of last year. She also shed 11% of viewers who tuned in last month and a staggering 51% compared to the show’s debut month of July 2020.

“ReidOut” has also lost 57% of her total audience among the advertiser-coveted demographic of adults age 25-54 since the program launched in July 2020, finishing April with a dismal demo average of only 124,000 viewers. “ReidOut” viewership during April was MSNBC’s least-watched month during the weeknight 7 p.m. hour among the critical demo since July 2015.

During April, every single Fox News Channel weekday program – including “FOX & Friends First” which airs from 4-6 a.m. ET – outdrew “The ReidOut.”

During her time at MSNBC, Reid emerged as one of the most toxic voices at any “big three” cable news outlets. We’ve documented many instances of her toxicity and racial arsonist tendencies here, including her bizarre suggestion that conservatives look for ways to drink COVID “in a Kool-Aid cup,” and repeatedly referring to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and other black conservatives as some version of an “Uncle Tom” – something the guests she brings on have also done.

Perhaps most infamously, Reid came under fire in late 2017/early 2018 when she claimed she was “hacked” after posts from her old blog were dug up and found to contain what LGBTQ rights activists said were “bigoted” and “homophobic” remarks.

MSNBC stood by her at the time, but if reports of her days being numbered at the network are accurate, obviously, things have changed.

I’m actually surprised that her ratings were as high as they are.

April has been a good month for conservatives. There are eleven more months in a year. Don’t let up now, don’t rest now.

Who really cares?

I’m glad they are prepared for lawsuits. The first will be hers for racial discrimination. She has poor job performance, but it will be racist to fire her. Any white, brown, or yellow person in her position would also be fired, but no lawsuit would be filed.

Good riddance to racist garbage

This is not good news.

This is a scrubbing of vile behavior by Dems. We need that to stay out in the open for everyone to blatantly see or some will have plausible deniability.

Reid is great for conservatives and the best part is she has no idea.

“Comcast is taking
@MSNBC
out of the equation in her cancellation.” As they know that “everyone running MSNBC is terrified of her

Terrified of her? Why? Because she will play the race card that more and more are ignoring?

I bet she would be a good fit for the new WH Misinformation Governance Board. Her talents are underutilized at MSNBC.

Where can a racist/bigot like her go if she can’t make it on PMSDNC?

Her rating were already in the toilet.
The only way they could get lower is if somebody flushed.

She is a performer. Performers get compensated to put butts into seats and she isn’t delivering. Maybe she can join up with Keith Olbermann and launch a podcast swapping conspiracy theories?

I’m pleased. I would be more pleased if I had ever heard of this Reid person anywhere on earth outside of Conservative media complaining about her.

I digress. Please keep her on the air.
She says the Fascunnist’s quiet part out loud.

I think she should be on the Supreme Court. After all, The Supremes were all black chicks.

Reid is out at MSNBC? That’s just racist.

“According to one source, “The decision has been made. The only thing left is how to do it.”

I heard the requirement for increased ratings had narrowed the choices down to between livestreamed waterboarding and the jump-start machine at Caterpillar Tractor..

I can’t believe there are over a hundred thousand people in this country that still watch her–we need more mental health counselors

There never has been any moral distinction in the race-baiting done by Joy Reid and that done by the Ku Klux Klan, and they are equally stupid. Good Riddance. I am sure she can land a high-paying job in a college or university where her toxicity is ubiquitous and well-rewarded.

You know you’re done when the bots quit boting.

She’s so stoopid her days are lettered.

Joy baby–some bad news. Your raitings are in the toilet and your career is in the trash. Clean out your office and go.
