College age kids tend to rebel against authority, see 1960s free speech, free expression movements. The edgy thing to be after a while will come full circle—question authority, trust no one over 30. Teenagers eventually rebel against conformity. Discuss with your grand parents, kids.
They don’t, unpopular wars leads to rebellion. Young people are among the most authority conforming today.
Sad, isn’t it.
It is, unfortunately creating a rule based on what happened in the Vietnam era just doesn’t work.
Wish Crowder was right about young people, but even the best of us are wrong sometimes.
“ authority conforming”
Aren’t they conforming to anarchy, to chaotic structures in society?
Strange.
I’m not sure what you mean by chaos.
Racial hierarchy is not chaotic, gender hierarchy is not chaotic, they are evil however.
Not all bad things are chaotic
I would be glad to know what you meant by anarchy however.
In today’s world you can do things on campus that you shouldn’t. And things that you should do, you can’t.
