Insurrectionist Democrats Still Disputing Brett Kavanaugh Confirmation Three Years Later

A transparent bid to shift attention from the massive across-the-board failures of the Biden administration

National Democrats are desperate to turn attention away from their humanitarian crisis at—and the public health hazard surging across—our southern border, skyrocketing violent crime that predictably followed their demands to “Abolish” and “Defund” the police, the rising price of consumer goods from gasoline to food to school supplies, their divisive and destructive push to indoctrinate the entire nation via school/college or the workplace in CRT-rooted racism, the Biden administration strong-arming Big Tech to censor social media posts with which they disagree, and their war on secure elections.

None of this is popular with or being well-received by the American people.

Seeing the writing on the wall in the run-up to the 2022 midterms, Democrats are scrambling to find an issue, any issue, that will gin up their base and get them to the polls.

To that end, they are bitterly clinging to the events at the Capitol on January 6th as if the government were literally on the verge of collapse because a few hundred unarmed people traipsed into the Capitol building . . .  most of whom just took a few selfies and ambled back out again.  They apparently hope that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s ridiculous clown show “investigation” will rivet the nation and get their radical regressive base fired up.

But Democrats may not be very confident in that whole Reichstag angle because they are apparently going to dig up and flog the dead horse of the bogus allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.  They likely have fond memories of pink pussy hats and weirdos dressed like handmaids shrieking wildly and clawing their way through the doors while the hearings were taking place. They need that energy again from their base, so they are busily attempting to create outrage.

We covered the abysmal conduct of Democrats, their media cheerleaders, and their frontline activists from beginning to end. You can read our timeline of the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings and review key events here.

The New York Times noted that some Democrat senators are outraged that “some of the 4,500 tips [the FBI] received about Justice Brett Kavanaugh were given to the Trump White House.” This fact alone leads these supposedly serious politicians to call the FBI investigations a “sham.”

In a letter dated June 30 to two Democratic senators, Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island and Chris Coons of Delaware, an F.B.I. assistant director, Jill C. Tyson, said that the most “relevant” of the 4,500 tips the agency received during an investigation into Mr. Kavanaugh’s past were referred to White House lawyers in the Trump administration, whose handling of them remains unclear.

The letter left uncertain whether the F.B.I. itself followed up on the most compelling leads. The agency was conducting a background check rather than a criminal investigation, meaning that “the authorities, policies, and procedures used to investigate criminal matters did not apply,” the letter said.

Ms. Tyson’s letter was a response to a 2019 letter from Mr. Whitehouse and Mr. Coons to the F.B.I. director, Christopher A. Wray, posing questions about how the F.B.I.’s review of Mr. Kavanaugh was handled.

In an interview, Mr. Whitehouse said the F.B.I.’s response showed that the F.B.I.’s handling of the accusations into misconduct by Mr. Kavanaugh was a sham. Ms. Tyson’s letter, Mr. Whitehouse said, suggested that the F.B.I. ran a “fake tip line that never got properly reviewed, that was presumably not even conducted in good faith.”

What Whitehouse—and the New York Times—leaves out of this clothes-rending indictment of the Trump administration and the FBI is that every single senator had access to a summary of all 4500 tips.

The National Review reports:

Mike Davis, who served as chief counsel for nominations on the Senate Judiciary Committee during the Kavanaugh hearings, tells National Review that there was a summary of all 4,500 tips in the FBI’s report, which was available to all 100 U.S. senators.

“They printed out the entire tip-line summary,” says Davis. “Every senator had full access to read those things if they wanted to.”…

“Every whack-job in the world called into that thing. That’s why there were 4,500 [tips],” says Davis. “Grassley’s team went through the entire tip-line. It was nonsense.” Davis worked under then-chairman Chuck Grassley on the committee and now runs the Article 3 Project, a conservative group that focuses on the judiciary.

A Republican senator who reviewed the FBI’s report confirms Davis’s description of the tip-line summary. “There was nothing in there . . . nothing anywhere providing a shred of corroboration” of an existing allegation or a new allegation, the senator tells National Review.

There’s no there there. If there were, some intrepid Democrat senator’s aide would have spotted it and gleefully revealed it . . . during the hearings when it might have changed the outcome rather than three years later in a transparent bid to shift attention from the massive across-the-board failures of the Biden administration and in the face of lagging Democrat voter enthusiasm leading into next year’s midterms.

Don’t have any delusions. They will impeach him if they can get the votes followed by another kangaroo court trial. There was no penalty or down side for the last two.

“Democrats are scrambling to find an issue, any issue, that will gin up their base and get them to the polls.”

Because actually doing their jobs in a forthright and competent manner isn’t a realistic option.

But there’s zero chance of investigating the 2020 election and reversing that, because there’s no takesies-backsies. Even questioning it is a heinous crime against… against… shut up.

Gaddafi should have been a warning as to how America under the left would treat them

They don’t need voters, they got Dominon, China virus and mail in voting

So the Biden regime can allow anyone to enter the country at our southern border with no problem but when it comes to people who are truly in fear for their lives they have to go through the process of getting “special immigration visas” and must wait in hopes they get out before the taliban slaughters them. How disgusting is that.

C’mon Joe! Get the people that aided us out of that country and into the United States. And then when they’re safe deal with their immigration paperwork. Just how hard could that be.

Sorry for the double link

Maybe once wasn’t good enough

Wonder if Lindsay Graham will be as outspoken this time around, seeing how he got reelected since then.

Are you kidding? There still disputing Clarence Thomas’ nomination THIRTY years later!

Too bad we all stood up for Kavanaugh and he has stabbed us in the back.

He’s just another leftist.

He’s certainly trending toward becoming another Roberts, but he’s not yet a Souter. He has been a good vote on a significant number of cases, although I have been disappointed in him.

One would hope that this latest eruption might remind him that no matter what he does, the chattering classes are always going to hate him, so he should quit trying to curry favor with the Georgetown cocktail party circuit crowd (a-la Roberts) and just do his damn job (a-la Thomas).

For me, the acid test comes this fall with the NYRSA Second Amendment case. If Kavanaugh runs away from his earlier CADCC opinions and joins Roberts in squishing on the Second Amendment, then it will be undeniable that he’s another Judas.

I’m not going to get wasting any time fighting for this spineless phony twice. Let the commies make a big stink over this. They are engaged in a lot of desperate fight right now and this is far from the most important one which they are going to lose anyway.

I hope that they realize that if sane people ever regain power, these insurrectionists can be prosecuted and persecuted for their attacks on the SCOTUS building during their insurrection. They are counting on the rational behavior of Republicans (not RINOs but real Republicans). They just may have removed all civility from their opponents since they lost their civility in 2009.

Yet not a mention about the meathead Latina. that insulted half the country.

Man, that Kavy was a busy bee

4500 tips, wow

No belief in God, where our values come from.
Bless their hearts!

If they don’t try to impeach him, they can use this as a rallying cry for Democrats to pass legislation to pack the court, ie. we’ll just make him and certain other justices irrelevant for years and years to come. That being said, in order for that to be even possible these days the Senate would have to nuke the filibuster, which Schumer would not attempt unless he knew for certain it would be successful, and at the moment it wouldn’t. Therefore, elect more Democrats in November 2022 so the court-packing can be done in 2023.

Meanwhile, AZ Senators now calling for the decertification of the 2020 election.

It has started. It’s NOT time to “move on” from the election. It was STOLEN! Let’s see if the “move on” Republicans change their tune. Just thought I would throw that into today’s discussion.

Anyone can “call” for whatever they like, but it’s not possible, and they know it. They’re just virtue signalling.

Yeah, I forgot your Homer Simpson rule: “Trying is the first step to failure.”

With Trump in town firing up the voters like never before and with excellent pro-Trump candidates for governor, secretary of state and others, this is the perfect time to be storming that bipartisan wall of traitors. This war is not going to be won by lawyers arguing in empty chambers in front of corrupt judges. It will be won by political action, like peasants carrying pitch forks and torches pounding on the doors of those lawyer-filled empty chambers.

I’m guessing that unless you are holding four aces or a royal straight flush, you always fold. If you only play hands you can’t lose, you end up winning one or two small pots (if lucky) while losing most of your stake surrendering your antes without a fight. You can’t win if you don’t play the game. In this case, you are quitting on a winning hand.

A few issues with the Artice:

“skyrocketing violent crime that predictably followed their demands to “Abolish” and “Defund” the police”
In many instances the reduction in budgeting hasn’t actually happened yet, crime states have increased across the board. This includes states where police budgets have increased. In other words the increase in crime isn’t related to police budgets. Its far more likely that Covid, economic and employment issues are primary causes.

“the rising price of consumer goods from gasoline to food to school supplies,”

What exactly is the cause of these increases at least part of the cause is the world wide logistics chain being disrupted by Covid

“their divisive and destructive push to indoctrinate the entire nation via school/college or the workplace”

This seems pretty dubious, Bidens administration is hardly pushing the narrative. It seems more like a coalition of numerous groups accept the narrative and are independently endorsing some of the outputs of CRT. It feels like the right is being triggered on this topic, it also seems like many on the right are pretty clueless on what CRT is.

“Biden administration strong-arming Big Tech to censor social media posts with which they disagree”
Err no, that’s bullshit. Talking to a company to make sure that anti vax shite isnt propagated on social media is a good thing. No one is strong arming anyone.

“their war on secure elections.”
The elections were already secure, so on what basis should it election be made more difficult to vote in when there is no evidence of election fraud

“they are bitterly clinging to the events at the Capitol on January 6th as if the government were literally on the verge of collapse because a few hundred unarmed people traipsed into the Capitol building”

That’s not the claim the claim is Trump has consistently lied about voter fraud in order to instigate a change in the results. Jan 6th was one outcome of that lie. One of the consistent claims is that Trump is utterly incompetent so its not surprising that his attempts to change the results have been utter failures.

“the bogus allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.”
There were legitimate concerns that the man is a rapist, in fact the FBI never followed up on many of the witnesses Deborah Remirez presented. Its at least fair to say that the accusations were poorly investigated.

The theory is that if Justice Kavanaugh, or any other federal judge, lied under oath during their confirmation process, they can be impeached by Congress. That is certainly a true statement, and Congress has impeached and removed federal judges in the past for misconduct. However, given the current composition of both the House and the Senate, it is doubtful that any federal judge will be impeached for just lying during his/her confirmation.

Interesting point Lawgrad, i think a bit like Presidential impeachment the chances are very low in a partisan and evenly split senate.
