To No One’s Surprise, Kamala Harris Is Not Viewed Favorably By Voters

Kamala Harris’ 2020 presidential campaign was, by any measure, a humiliating disaster.

Democrat voters, including black Democrat voters, rejected her in such huge numbers that she didn’t even stick around for a single state’s primary.

She dropped out in December 2019 due to her plunging poll numbers among Democrat voters and an inability to inspire Democrat donors to open their checkbooks to support her flailing campaign (obviously, these Democrat donors are racist misogynists who hated the thought of a POC female president).

When quitting her presidential bid, Harris, of course, blamed Democrat primary voters, whom she contends are the most racity racist misogyisty misogynists evah.  Well, except for those white supremacist, terrorist Republican voters who are even worse.

Harris is a uniquely unlikable politician: not only is she socially awkward but her truly bizarre inappropriate cackling is extremely off-putting (even to her fellow Democrats); she is seen, by Independent voters, as “abrasive and condescending“; and her inability to stick to any policy agenda turned off progressive (i.e. Bernie bro types) and even moderate Democrats.

That’s just what Democrat voters saw when they weighed Harris as their potential presidential nominee.  To the wider, general electorate, she comes across as not only unlikable, abrasive, condescending, corrupt, unAmerican, and wishy-washy but as . . . completely wacky.

So it was with absolutely no surprise that I read about her abysmal approval ratings as Biden’s VP.

Greenwald’s #KHive hashtag refers to the online mob who worship and attempt to silence any and all critique of Harris as racist and misogynist.  Forget that people who dislike Harris’ policies also dislike them when they are presented by white and / or male Dems . . . don’t confuse cults with facts.  It makes them double-down on their crazy.

So Harris is underwater in her approval ratings as VP.  Is anyone surprised?

I wasn’t  But I was a bit surprised to see that 19% of Democrats have a somewhat or very unfavorable view of her, while 12% of Republicans have a very or somewhat favorable view of her.  More Democrats think unfavorably than Republicans think favorably of Harris?  Yikes.

And who are these Republicans who view her somewhat or very favorably?  #NeverTrumper Liz let’s find somewhere to bomb Cheney and Smarmy Mittens McRomneycare types is my guess, but it’s just a guess.

None of this bodes well for Harris if she’s pondering a 2024 bid for president.
