Joe Biden has been president for a little over two weeks, and it already feels like six months. I knew that when Democrats and the media kept claiming that Biden would return to normalcy, it was a lie, but I didn't realize how bad it would be. It's a disaster on multiple levels.

Coca-Cola Company is now mandating racial quotas for how its outside law firms staff Coca-Cola work. Not just aspirations to increase diversity, straight out minimums based on race. In the zero sum game of how a limited number of matters are staffed by a limited number of lawyers, that means Coca-Cola is mandating that law firms engage in racism.

Pakistan's highest court has ordered the release of an Islamist sentenced to death for the kidnapping and beheading of the American journalist Daniel Pearl. Omar Saeed Sheikh, the main suspect in the killing, and three other co-conspirators "are to be released immediately if they are not required in any other case," the Pakistan Supreme Court ruled Thursday.

During the initial stages of the COVID-19 outbreak in the spring of 2019, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a state mandate that nursing homes must readmit residents sent to hospitals with the coronavirus and accept new patients deemed “medically stable.” The order was devastating. It led to a significant number of infections, hospitalizations, and deaths among the state's elderly.
