Sanders Praises Castro, But Will Skip AIPAC Since the Platform Allows People to ‘Express Bigotry’

2020 Democratic primary frontrunner Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) announced he will skip the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) conference since the platform allows people to “express bigotry.”

Sanders’ announcement came a day after he praised former Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.

Again, confused face gif goes here.

AIPAC responded:

“In fact, many of his own Senate and House Democratic colleagues and leaders speak from our platform to the over 18,000 Americans from widely diverse backgrounds — Democrats, Republicans, Jews, Christians, African Americans, Hispanic Americans, members of the LGBTQ+ community — who participate in the conference to proclaim their support for the US — Israel relationship,” Wittmann said, in an unusually harsh statement for the group.

“By engaging in such an odious attack on this mainstream, bipartisan American political event, Senator Sanders is insulting his very own colleagues and the millions of Americans who stand with Israel. Truly shameful,” Wittman said.

So Sanders hate bigotry. The Washington Examiner’s Philip Klein kindly reminded everyone that Sanders attended and spoke at the Islamic Society of North America’s (ISNA) conference last August.

ISNA rejected Muslim journalist Wajahat Ali because he had the nerve to involve himself with “the Shalom Hartman Institute and its Muslim Leadership Initiative — a program that promotes engagement between American Muslims and Jewish scholars, both in Israel and in New York City, to learn how diverse Jewish communities debate and discuss Israel, Zionism, and Judaism.”

How dare he!

Instead, ISNA accepted Hatem Bazian, a man known as America’s “most anti-semitic professor.” He teaches at UC Berkeley.

He founded the group Students for Justice in Palestine, “which has been associated with a spike in anti-Semitic attacks on campus.” The Tower wrote:

“In 1999, the Detroit News reported that Bazian endorsed a passage of the Qur’an that advocated violence against Jews: ‘The Day of Judgment will not happen until the trees and stones will say, “Oh Muslim, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him.’” (Bazian later denied having done so.) And after 79 SJP members were arrested in 2002 for illegally occupying UC Berkeley’s Wheeler building (a protest that coincided with the Holocaust Day of Remembrance), Bazian organized a counterdemonstration to protest the arrests. Playing on old anti-Semitic tropes of Jewish power and money, Bazian allegedly pointed toward donor names engraved on school buildings and said, “Take a look at the type of names on the buildings around campus — Haas, Zellerbach — and decide who controls this university.”

Others include Nihal Awad. He once said he supports “the Hamas movement.” He also claimed that those of “Jewish origin” from President Clinton’s administration push American policy.

Then there’s Zahra Billoo, who I blogged about last year. The Women’s March dropped her almost as soon as it appointed her to its board due to past anti-Semitic posts. She tweeted, “If you support Israel, you are no doubt supporting baby killers.”

Let’s push aside ISNA. Let’s look at those who endorsed Sanders.

Sanders has paraded Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib at his rallies. We have documented the many anti-Semitic tweets and comments they have made in the past:

I don’t see Jewish people eliminating their rivals via firing squad.

Bernie does not self identify as Jewish does he?

Methinks Bernie, like Sorass would have no problems doing mass….

Why has Soros never been held accountable for his actions in World War II?

Because he didn’t do anything wrong in WW2. He was a teenager and hid out where his parents placed him. He saw other people’s suffering, and was glad that he was spared. Years later he said he had no survivor’s guilt ‐ that’s the famous TV interview that people like to cite — but that’s a good thing. Survivor’s guilt is a mental disorder that people go to therapy to get rid of; if he never suffered it good for him.

He did a lot of good before he turned to the dark side. He’s done plenty of harm now, but (a) he hasn’t broken any laws, and (b) it doesn’t justify making up stories about his past.

      In Latin?

Bigotry, including diversity: racism, sexism, classicism, and other color judgments.

Bigotry, including Pro-Choice, selective, opportunistic religion. Bigotry, including Political Congruence (“=”) or selective exclusion.

Bigotry, including post-normal science or conflation of logical domains, Profits (sic), Green blight, carbon credit sales, etc. Bigotry, including: selective and cannibalized (“Mengele”) Jew… Child, progressive prices under cover of shared/shifted responsibility… redistributive change. Bigotry, including: witch hunts and warlock trials (e.g. trial by Press). Bigotry, including: elective regimes changes, abortion zones, forced immigration reform.

This country will be in deep doo doo if this nutjob and his supporters ever get anywhere near the White House. There’s a lot of stupid people out there. And they vote.

[YesBut] all too many Democrat voters will be immunized against any amount of stench emanating from Sanders and his campaign due to their fixation on defeating Trump.

Trying to get reliably Democratic voters to vote against the Democrat candidate this fall is probably a losing strategy. Somehow getting at least some of these voters to consider Trump an acceptable choice seems more promising.

And that’s so no matter how bad the stench is, for, truly, they do not and will not smell it.

Bernie will wipe out bigotry even if it eliminates more than half the country. For the Left any single “good” act can justify every other terrible action. Any single “bad” act by “reactionary” person is grounds for total group destruction. In the midst of Kotkin’s middle book on Stalin dealing now with the purges…. Rather contemporary to Dems 2020.

Sanders is all in on the illegitimacy of Israel platform.

“As president” keep dreaming there bernsides

New prediction:

Bernie wins the nomination and gets handed a “safe” VP.

It’s beyond me how Bernie gets any votes outside of the radical left

It’s unnerving how many there are

We absolutely must get a handle on our schools and close our borders, Immigration must come to either a stop, like prior to 1965, or a trickle, till we right the ship.

Florida Democrats Slam Bernie’s Castro Comments As ‘Unacceptable,’ ‘Insulting’

Saw where Bernie the Communist was “denouncing Cuba’s oppression” but praising their literacy program. You could tell he really doesn’t care about liberty. It’s like he thinks it’s justified by their literacy program!
