End Note: I'm putting this at the top because it sums up better than anything I've seen the reaction to the shooting from the media and the left. From John Podhoretz at Commentary:
Based on the early evidence, the shooter was not only consumed with a hatred of Jews but possessed a kind of sneering contempt for Trump on the grounds that Trump was basically a Jewish agent or a Jew-lover himself. Trump can only be blamed for the murderous Jew-killing actions of someone who thought of him that way by people who are so consumed by hatred of him that there is nothing they won’t blame him for.

This Case of the Week is not so much a case of self-defense law as it is a case of mischaracterization of self-defense law. As sure as the sun rises in the East and sets in the West, the media will continue to mischaracterize “Stand-Your-Ground” in terms of both actual application and as legal doctrine. A recent example came across my desk this week from a publication named “Black Voice News,” in an article you can find by clicking here.

Reports came out late Thursday night that President Donald Trump has been considering using executive action to stop the migrant caravan that is headed to our border. From Politico:
Under the plan, the Trump administration would publish fast-track regulation that would restrict certain migrants' ability to seek asylum. The regulation would be paired with a related proclamation from President Donald Trump.

Michael Avenatti was the darling of the liberal media when he served the purpose of representing Stormy Daniels. But that ship has sailed, with her defamation case against Trump being thrown out of court, with Daniels to pay Trump's legal fees. The media doubled-down on Avenatti's star status when just before the hearings on the accusations by Christine Blasey Ford against Brett Kavanaugh, Avenatti released a declaration by Julie Swetnick making outlandish claims. Those Swetnick claims were that she witnessed Kavanaugh spiking the punch at high school parties and helping organize up to 10 gang rape parties.
