If you know anything about President Obama, you know that he loves to campaign and he's quite good at it. He loves speaking to adoring crowds of fans, and answering softball questions from his disciples in the press. Obama signaled his eminent return to politics by weighing in on the special election in Georgia. Politics USA reported:

Hadas Malka was a 23-year-old Israeli policewoman who was stabbed to death in a coordinated attack by three Palestinian men outside the Damascus Gate to the Old City of Jerusalem. All three attackers were shot to death during the attack. ISIS and Hamas issued competing claims of responsibility. The ruling Fatah Party, led by Mahmoud Abbas, condemned the shooting of the terrorists, and called it a war crime.

This may be the least covered major story of the Trump era, so far at least. While the media and Democrats are obsessed with increasingly bizarre Trump-Russia conspiracy theories, and failed attempts to flip Special Election congressional seats, an enormous change to the federal judiciary is well underway. Thursday, Senate Republicans finally unveiled their version of the American Health Care Act (AHCA). It's almost as much of a stinker as its House counterpart. If you were hoping the GOP would make good on their promise to repeal and replace Obamacare, then I have some disappointing news: the latest Republican health insurance brainchild does neither. As we discussed when dissecting the unimpressive House AHCA, the Senate GOP bill is also limited in what it can accomplish for one reason -- reconciliation. Senate Republicans are relying on the budget reconciliation mechanism to pass their first health care overhaul with a simple majority vote.

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has filed a lawsuit against people who have protested outside of Choices Women's Medical Clinic in Queens for the past five years. Schneiderman has accused the defendants of "targeting patients and employees every Saturday morning, telling them 'You don’t know when you might get shot' and even calling them murderers."

On today's Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski strongly suggested that President Trump is in cahoots with the Russians, saying "it's kind of hard not to think that [Trump] might be in on some sort of scheme." Earlier, Mika recycled the Trump/Nazi card. She invited Jon Meacham to draw a historical parallel to President Trump. When she asked him "what this is reminiscent of if you had to make a parallel," Meacham drew the comparison to President Nixon at the end of his tenure. That wasn't what Mika was looking for, so she tried again: "what is this reminiscent to, even outside of the United States?"

On Wednesday, Amor Ftouhi, a Canadian originally from Tunisia, screamed Allahu Akbar after he stabbed Lt. Jeff Neville at Bishop International Airport in Flint, MI. The FBI have started investigating the attack as a terrorist act, but have not found Ftouhi involved in a wider plot.

Germany’s Jewish community has criticised the government and lawmakers for failing to act against the rising antisemitism in the country. The Head of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, Josef Schuster, slammed the German politicians over 'lack of interest' when it comes to combatting the rising antisemitism within the country. The Central Council of Jews in Germany is the umbrella organization of Jewish communities in the country. The statements coincides with the recent parliamentary debate centred on a detailed report on antisemitism by a group of independent experts tabled in the German Bundestag. The 311-page report by the 'Independent Expert Group on Anti-Semitism' deals with -- to quote a German news network -- the "current anti-Jewish sentiment in Germany." The German public broadcaster Deutsche Welle reported the recent parliamentary debate saying, “One by one, politicians from all of Germany's major parties took to the podium to condemn anti-Semitism and stress how seriously they took the problem”. Deutsche Welle revealingly called the parliamentary debate on Antisemitism a “ritualized speech-making.” The Bundestag debate ended with Merkel's government deciding to put the report on the back burner.

The Democratic National Committee hit a record low for fundraising in April and the news got no better in May. After Democrat donors pumped a massive amount of cash into the Georgia runoff election this month, the party as a whole is hurting financially. Anna Giaritelli reports at the Washington Examiner:
Democrats had the worst May fundraising since 2003 The Democratic National Committee raised nearly $4.3 million in May, making it the organization's worst May on record for fundraising since 2003, according to newly released Federal Election Commission data.

The Democrats' obsession with Russia-Trump collusion conspiracy theories has been long on innuendo, and short on facts. Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy has been a leader in spreading the innuendo. During a February interview with CNN, Murphy warned it's "as scary as it gets":

In March, California's Attorney General slapped David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt, with a whopping fifteen felony charges. Daleiden and Merritt, by way of the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), released several horrifying undercover videos exposing Planned Parenthood officials negotiating the price of aborted baby parts. I discussed those charges at length and concluded the only charge that might have some legitimacy was the last charge which addressed Merritt and Daleiden's use of an expired employee ID to login to the Stem Expresses system.

In the aftermath of four Special Election defeats, including a devastating loss in Georgia's Sixth District, Democrats are trying to figure out where it all went wrong. Democrats were expecting anti-Trump *Resistance* to be enough. But it wasn't. It's not that focusing intently on the opposing party's leader doesn't work anymore. It's that the leader against whom such a tactic worked wasn't Republican Donald Trump, but Democrat Nancy Pelosi. Supporters of Karen Handel pegged Democrat Jon Ossoff as just another Pelosi puppet. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution noted the Pelosi effect:
