Wednesday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sent a letter to the Dallas County judge who sentenced salon owner Shelly Luther to seven days in jail after she refused to apologize for opening her business against lockdown orders. Dallas County was one of the counties that released "hardened criminals" arguing it was to help stop the spread of the coronavirus. But yes, let's jail a woman opening her business to feed her family and ensure her stylists can feed theirs.
