Fiddleheads Cafe in Mendocino, CA, charges patrons $5 for wearing a mask while ordering their food. However, if you toss your mask, the cafe will give you a 50% discount.

The city of Los Angeles is trying to deal with its massive homeless problem by making tents available for those in need. The problem is the ridiculous monthly cost of over $2,600 per tent. Couldn't you put people into apartments for less than that?

The California State Board of Education (SBOE)—a font of seemingly never ending controversy over the past year—has struck again. Even after the considerable public anger surrounding the new Marxist-inspired, Critical Theory-rife Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum (ESMC), the SBOE has now begun to revamp its K-12 mathematics curricula with similar philosophies in mind.

If approved, the state would give $600 checks to workers who earn up to $75,000 annually, with $500 bonuses for tax filers with dependents and undocumented families.
