Australia has blasted the International Criminal Court (ICC) for launching an investigation against Israel. Rejecting the decision by the Hague-based tribunal to target the Jewish State over alleged 'war crimes,' Australia's Foreign Ministry questioned the legitimacy of the ICC probe against Israel. "Australia's position is clear — we do not recognize a so-called ‘State of Palestine’ and we do not recognize that there is such a State Party to the ICC’s Rome Statute,"said the ministry's spokesperson.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has threatened Europe with a new migrant wave if the conflict in Syria continues to escalate, German state broadcaster Deutsche Welle reported. European nations, particularly the neighboring country of Greece, "will feel" the migrant surge, the Turkish leader warned on Sunday.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has opened a probe against Israel over alleged war crimes, court's chief prosecutor announced on Friday. ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda failed to specify the nature of the allegations against Israel, claiming that she was "satisfied" that "war crimes have been or are being committed in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip." Palestinian terrorist groups, Hamas and PLO, praised the ICC for targeting Israel.

In one of the most important votes in the British parliament's history, the newly elected lawmakers have resoundingly approved Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Brexit deal. The Withdrawal Agreement Bill passed in the Lower House by 358 votes to 234.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's election victory over his rival Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn triggered an unprecedented meltdown in European Liberal media and political circles. The Conservative Party led by Johnson won a resounding 80-seat majority on Thursday, paving the way for Brexit by the end of next month. While the Conservatives secured their biggest majority since Margaret Thatcher's victory in 1987, the socialist Labour registered its worst election performance since 1935.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Conservative Party has won a landslide victory in Thursday's general election, final results show. With 644 seats out of 650 declared so far, Conservatives have won 366, Labour secured 203, followed by the potential Labour ally Scottish National Party (SNP) at 48. The pro-EU Liberal Democrats got 11 seats. Nigel Farage's Brexit party, which pulled majority of its candidates in favor of the Conservatives, failed to register a single win.

Israel is heading for a third election in eleven months after repeated rounds of negotiations failed to yield a coalition government. In consecutive elections, which took place in April and September, neither Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party nor the opposition Blue and White alliance managed to secure a majority in a 120-seat Knesset, Israel's parliament.

U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell criticized the city of Berlin on Friday for allowing a pro-Hamas conference. "We have raised our concerns over this. Hamas is a terrorist organization and should not be welcomed in Berlin," the U.S. envoy said on Twitter.

Tehran may have killed more than 1,000 protesters during the deadly clampdown against anti-regime protests, the U.S. State Department said. "As the truth is trickling out of Iran, it appears the regime could have murdered over a thousand Iranian citizens since the protests began,” the U.S. Special Representative for Iran, Brian Hook, disclosed on Thursday.

Israel is set to present Iran's violation of the nuclear agreement to the United Nations Security Council later this month, the country's Minister of Foreign Affairs Israel Katz confirmed on Thursday. "Iran is developing missiles capable of carrying a nuclear payload while violating UN Security Council resolutions," he said.

The European Union's highest court has upheld the gun control regulations placed by Brussels across the 28-member state bloc. Tuesday's ruling by the European Court of Justice (ECJ) was in response to a legal challenge filed by the Czech Republic against EU's gun control directives.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has declined to open an investigation against Israel over the 2010 Gaza flotilla incident. The decision came after the ICC appeals judges ordered their chief prosecutor to reconsider her previous rejection of calls for probe into the 2010 raid. In May 2013, Comoros, a small Muslim-majority Indian Ocean island country, approached the Hague-based tribunal to launch "war crimes" proceedings against Israel.

Six European countries have joined the European payment mechanism which seeks to bypass U.S. sanctions against Iran. "Belgium, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden are in the process of becoming shareholders of the Instrument in Support of Trade Exchanges (Instex)," the Government of Norway said in a statement on Friday.

The London Bridge attacker, who murdered at least two people on Friday, has been identified as an Islamic terrorist previously convicted of planning an Al Qaeda terror plot in London. The 28-yer-old terrorist of Pakistani origin, Usman Khan, was out on parole after serving less than seven years of his 16-year prison sentence for planning to blow up the  London Stock Exchange and U.S. embassy, among other targets. The convicted terrorist was wearing an electronic tag at the time of the attack, the UK news reports confirm.
