The Albany Times Union reported New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo prioritized his family and influential people with ties for COVID-19 tests when the pandemic began last year:
Members of Cuomo's family including his brother, his mother and at least one of his sisters were also tested by top health department officials — some several times, the sources said.

The Health and Human Services Department (HHS) asked the Pentagon if officials could house unaccompanied migrant children at two Texas bases:
[Pentagon spokesman John] Kirby told ABC News at his ongoing on-camera news conference that he did not have many details, but that HHS had asked the Pentagon to house unaccompanied minors at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas and Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas.

Evanston, a Chicago suburb, approved a $10 million reparation program for its black residents as compensation "for codified discrimination:"
“The Local Reparations Restorative Housing Program ... acknowledges the harm caused to Black/African-American Evanston residents due to discriminatory housing policies and practices and inaction on the part of the City,” the resolution reads.

Debra Katz, who is representing a woman accusing New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo of harassment, claimed he is interfering with the attorney general's investigation:
Ex-Cuomo aide Charlotte Bennett’s lawyer cited a recent report “that the Executive Chamber is providing staffers with in-house attorneys to meet with them in advance of their investigatory interviews…and to attend those interviews with them.”
