You may recall one form of the left's post-election hysteria was "what do we tell the children?" That died down as recounts and Russian conspiracies took over but Ali Wentworth, the wife of ABC News reporter (and former Clinton staffer) George Stephanopoulos, appeared on The View this week and explained the horror the election has caused for her children. The Washington Free Beacon reported:
George Stephanopoulos’ Wife Tells ‘The View’ Their Daughters Are Scared After Election While discussing the 2016 presidential election with the hosts of ABC’s show “The View,” Wentworth described how her daughters were handling Hillary Clinton’s loss.

Kimberly Peirce, who made the 1999 film "Boys Don't Cry" about the transgender man Brandon Teena was recently invited to screen the film and give a talk at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Things went downhill quickly as students arrived and shouted obscenities at Peirce, preventing her ability to speak. The students were angry that Peirce had cast Hillary Swank, a non-trans actor in the main role and accused Peirce of profiting off of violence against a transgender person. We covered this in a recent Quick Take, based on a report by Robby Soave of Reason:
Leftist Students Shouted ‘F*ck You B*itch’ at the Gay Director of a Pro-Trans Movie, Boys Don’t Cry There was a time not so long ago when the people shouting “fuck you bitch” at a gender-fluid gay filmmaker would have been bigoted right-wing conservatives. But because we currently live in the year 2016, the people who heckled Kimberly Peirce—director of Boys Don’t Cry, a groundbreaking film about a transgender man—during her recent appearance at Reed College were far-left students.

It's difficult to think of anything less controversial than Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts crew but the classic Christmas special mentions Christianity explicitly which is a problem for some people. A staffer at a middle school in Texas decided to use imagery from the special as decorations but was told the decorations had to come down. Todd Starnes of FOX News reported:
School censors "Charlie Brown Christmas" poster One of the most poignant scenes in “A Charlie Brown Christmas” is when Linus stands on a stage and recites a passage from the Holy Bible describing the Christmas story.

I'm a big fan of Special Report with Bret Baier on FOX News. Baier is one of the best straight news guys on the network, if not on all of television and he's very good at keeping himself out of the story. This week Baier was on Late Night with Seth Meyers and it was fascinating to see him on the other side of an interview. He spent most of the time talking about news coverage of the election and Trump, naturally. Mediaite covered the segment:
Fox’s Bret Baier Tells Seth Meyers It’s a ‘Challenge’ When Trump Takes the Media ‘On a Ride’ Baier did a pretty good Trump impersonation when describing the times the then-candidate would confront him about the content of his show.
