L.A. DA Gascón Suspends Prosecutor for ‘Deadnaming’ Transgender Child Molester Accused of Murder

L.A. DA Gascón Suspends Prosecutor for ‘Deadnaming’ Transgender Child Molester Accused of Murder

This is the man who became transgender when authorities arrested him in connection with a child molestation case in 2014.

Progressive George Soros-backed Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón suspended the attorney prosecuting the transgender child molester accused of a cold case murder.

Shea Sanna’s crime? He misgendered and deadnamed the suspect. James Tubbs now goes as Hannah Tubbs.

Sanna made points about Tubbs becoming transgender after police arrested him in a 2014 child molestation case:

Shea Sanna, who had been the lead prosecutor for part of the case, is accused of misgendering and “deadnaming” the convicted child molester Hannah Tubbs, who is now accused of beating a man to death in the woods with a rock in Kern County.

Sanna has argued in the past that jailhouse phone calls show Tubbs was attempting to use gender identity to game the justice system – an argument that sources say made others in Gascon’s office uncomfortable and led to the suspension.

He pleaded guilty to molesting a 10-year-old girl in a Denny’s bathroom when he was 17.

Gascón caught fire for prosecuting Tubbs as a minor since he was 17 at the time and putting him in juvenile detention.

But Tubbs DNA connected him to Michael Clark’s death in 2019. He is held in Kern County on $1 million bond.

Fox News found out Tubbs allegedly molested a 4-year-old girl at a library in August 2013.

We’ve covered the Tubbs cases.

I look forward to the day when Karma lands on Gascon’s head in the form of a floor safe, a grand piano or an ACME anvil.

IOW, she wanted to hold him accountable for lying. Well, you can’t have that going on in a prosecutor’s office! Accountability? Where would Garcon’s career be if there was accountability?

She should sue him for religious discrimination. Because only a religion could hold so firmly to this doctrine in the face of reality.

A very astute comment. A quick wiki search indicates which religion and similarly where a large amount of his votes / support / money comes from. And where a large amount of his outreach and community involvement go to.
    Who knew?

The word you’re I think the words you’re searching for is cult.

A twilight faith, an ethical religion (i.e. behavioral protocol), a liberal ideology, a progressive play in semantic games under mortal gods, goddesses, and experts. This used to be a gay foray, but then it evolved as sullen, unusual, even wicked.

Who is “she”? The only purported female in this story is the criminal, whose phone calls show that he’s pretending.

And no, even if Gascon’s dedication to transgender ideology were based on his religious beliefs, that would not make this religious discrimination. Religious discrimination means suspending someone because of his religion. There’s no reason to suppose the ADA’s religion had anything to do with his suspension.

not so. If I punish/sanction you for not complying with or observing the tenets of my religion (i.e., I’m Catholic and you ate meat on Friday) that is discrimination.. Hmsxlty is a cult that is now the de facto established state religion; it
      punishes people for not complying.

The suspect’s crimes make a lot more sense if you call him a man, rather than calling him a woman. Gascon is cooperating in his effort to use a gender-change to screw up prosecution for a crime he is credibly accused of committing.

Gascon is just trying to strangle the prosecution effort.

We should not adopt/utilize the bullshit made up words of the woke. “Deadnaming” is not a word.

I think I figured out what it means. I agree with you.

“Deadnaming” is not even a rational concept.

Married women and their maiden names have been around since time immemorial, but this notion was never around and no one ever went and tried to change a married woman’s name in any credits or writing before she got married.

Further, with the trans lunatics they have taken all meaning out of gender or pronouns, even, that one can never be sure that anyone wants to try to “identify” as any gender or whatever from one moment to the next, so one can never (by their own reasoning, as it were) use any name or pronoun or other labeled reference for anyone without asking them first, and then can only use the accepted label for that one instance … because the person might change their mind about their gender or name or other quality in the next instant.

Of course, this sort of insane chaos is exactly what the Western Left is looking to produce. They want nothing but the utter destruction of advanced Mankind. The Western Left are self-hating, nihilist lunatics.

Yeah the notion of dead naming is stupid. If someone has always been X then the label (name) shouldn’t matter. If they haven’t always been X then the label does matter b/c there was a point of differentiation between the two periods and the ‘dead’ name (label) articulates that.

These folks logic isn’t sound unless they want to mandate name changes for those come out of the closet as well as mandate name change for every trans person. Either the prior ‘dead’ name (label) of the sexual identity should be jettisoned or it shouldn’t.

You said, “…the trans lunatics they have taken all meaning out of gender or pronouns…”
Boy isn’t that the truth. I was reading the Wikipedia on Sam Brinton. In it his parents are accused of have him subjected to conversion therapy. The article use They/them while discussing him which before I realized it made me think that his parents had sent multiple children to this therapy.

I accidentally downvoted, I apologize. You’re absolutely correct. Newspeak must be resisted. Starting with not calling the female partner of a woman “wife”, and the male partner of a man “husband”. .

These Soros backed DA’s are Marxists pushing criminals back on the street.

Increasingly, it seems like street justice is the only justice we can get in this life, no thanks to this corrupt system.

Has Tubbs ever appeared in court to legally change his birth name? I can’t find anything that says he has.

He could have been a baby, but was Planned and deadnamed a fetus… fetal-baby, interchangeable, deplorable, disposable.

No one sucks like Gascón
No one cucks like Gascón
Frees pervs for Soros bucks like Gascón

“misgendered and deadnamed”

If we took our wayback machine to the distant past of 2013, would anyone know what those words mean?

Comrades! Purity tests and party purges will continue until this mental illness is normalized. That is all.

Ok dead naming is if your a guy named Bruce Dumbf–k and some Tuesday morning you wake up … Decide your now a woman … Don a pair of magic panties and a push up bra and start calling yerself Cindy Dumbf–k … The name Bruce Dumbf–k no longer exists… Its dead … And anyone who uses your old name is a evil trans phone …* SHRUG * … f–k em

There’s this thing called “freedom of speech.” Anyone forcing someone to speak a lie is violating it. No government employee should be forced to use anything other than the legal name or gender.

Sounds like the DA doesn’t understand the First Amendment. Nor does he understand that until someone legally changes their name, that’s their name.

Gee, Gascon sure knows how to get along with his contingent of ADAs!

A few years ago, Gascon’s lead ADA had to file a suit against his boss and his office. You see, the CA legislature had passed a raft of criminal penalty enhancements that were not discretionary. That is to say, if the circumstances of a particular crime called for the application of a sentencing enhancement, the local DA could not simply wave it away using his prosecutorial discretion, as so many of these leftist Soros DAs are wont to do.

However, that is exactly what Gascon was doing, or forcing his ADAs to do. The ADAs were forced into a position that they either break CA law or defy their superior, subjecting themselves to internal discipline. Such a position is untenable, to say the least, and so the lead ADA had to file suit against the DA.

I’m sorry that I did not follow the story as it progressed through the courts, and I suspect some compromise was reached that would be unacceptable to everyone, but hey, this IS California!
