#GASen: Warnock-Linked Group Under Investigation For Trying To Register Non-Georgia Residents To Vote

A funny thing happened in Georgia back in the state’s June 2020 primaries: a thousand people “double-voted,” a fact that was not reported by Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger until September.

While he hasn’t expressed much interest in discovering voter and election fraud in the 2020 presidential election, Raffensperger is apparently quite concerned with potential fraud in the upcoming Georgia special election for the state’s two U.S. Senate seats, an election on which hinges control of the Senate.

To that end, he announced Wednesday that there are now investigations into various left-wing groups allegedly working to register non-Georgia (and non-living non-Georgia) residents to vote.

The Atlanta Constitution reports:

Georgia officials say they’re investigating voter registration groups they allege have sent applications to people in other states ahead of the Jan. 5 U.S. Senate runoff election.Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said one group sent applications to people in New York City. Another tried to register a dead Alabama woman. Two other groups also sent improper applications, the secretary said.Groups that were contacted denied the accusations. It’s unclear whether anything illegal occurred — one of Raffensperger’s top deputies said the issues under investigation could be legitimate or accidental. But the secretary said the state must remain vigilant about potential voter fraud, even as he repeated assurances that claims of widespread fraud in the presidential election were baseless.“These third-party (registration) groups have a responsibility to not encourage illegal voting,” Raffensperger said at a press conference at the Georgia Capitol. “If they do so, they will be held responsible.”

One of the groups in question was founded by Stacey “the real governor of Georgia” Abrams and was reportedly led until January by Democrat U.S. Senate candidate Rev. Raphael “America must repent for worshiping whiteness” Warnock.

The New York Post reports:

A voter registration group led by Georgia Democratic Senate hopeful Rev. Raphael Warnock until earlier this year is under investigation for allegedly sending ballots to residents in other states, Georgia’s secretary of state announced Monday. The New Georgia Project, which was founded by failed Peach State gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, was named as one of four voter registration groups under investigation for improper registration activities, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said.Raffensperger, a Republican, said the New Georgia Project — led by Warnock until January, when he announced he would run for the seat held by GOP Sen. Kelly Loeffler — “sent voter registration applications to New York City.”

If the allegations prove true, all I can say is that’s one very big tent Georgia Democrats have. Felonious even.
