CNN has settled the lawsuit brought by Nicholas Sandmann over coverage of the incident in which Sandmann falsely was accused of trying to intimidate a Native American activist, according to local TV reports. Sandmann filed lawsuits against CNN, The Washington Post, and NBC. Initially the lawsuits were dismissed, but recently a portion of the lawsuits were reopened by the court and all three lawsuits were reactivated.

Former HUD Secretary Julián Castro endorsed Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) on Monday a few days after he dropped out of the race. However, former Vice President Joe Biden's campaign told The Texas Tribune that he picked up 11 new endorsements from Texas. Nine of those people once supported Castro. Biden's campaign also said that he now has more support from those who backed Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA).

Australia might be a half a world away from California, but the massive wildfires that have struck the country are still burning too close to home.
