We view the Legal Insurrection Foundation as a joint effort with readers to create an impact — so view your donations as a way for you to make a difference.
December 3, 2019, is Giving Tuesday, the first one for the Legal Insurrection Foundation, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3). All donations are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law. Reader donations have been critical to our success and survival. More than you know.
We have achieved a lot since launch on March 1, 2019, including the exclusive and widely-praised coverage of the Gibson’s Bakery v. Oberlin College case, something we continue to follow.
But our work has gone far beyond that. In addition to maintaining the website with coverage of breaking news and politics, we have conducted widely-cited investigations of the intersectional left, including the alliance between Islamists and radical progressives. That work is ongoing, expect more reports. We also are expanding our free speech and community building activities with past events in Houston, Austin, and D.C.
We are planning additional events around the country for the New Year, which will include campus and off-campus speaking appearances. If there is a group or appearance opportunity you think would be worthwhile, email us.

One other thing. Many of you are familiar with the problem the old non-exempt “Legal Insurrection” (WAJ Media LLC) had with Amazon in May 2018. I was surprised to receive snail mail recently telling me the Foundation (a separate entity) had received a donation through the AmazonSmile program. I was not really familiar with that program, but the Legal Insurrection Foundation is now a participant, and if you shop through smile.amazon.com (you must use that “smile” url) you can designate Legal Insurrection Foundation as your charity of choice.
