Hillary: “I am Done With Being a Candidate”

“The forces that were at work in 2016 were unlike anything that I’ve ever seen or read about. It was a perfect storm.”

Music to our ears! Failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told CBS Sunday Morning that she is through with being a candidate:

Clinton says her career as an active politician is over but says she will stay involved politically.

“I am done with being a candidate. But I am not done with politics because I literally believe that our country’s future is at stake,” she said.

Hillary appeared on the show to promote her memoir What Happened, which will come out on Tuesday.

Since her defeat, Hillary and her main core of supporters have pointed the finger at everyone…except her. Screams of misogyny have filled our ears, accusations against the Russians flooded the news.

Of course, sexism and even racism snuck up in Hillary’s interview with Jane Pauley:

“I started the campaign knowing that I would have to work extra hard to make women and men feel comfortable with the idea of a woman president,” she said. “It doesn’t fit into the– the stereotypes we all carry around in our head. And a lot of the sexism and the misogyny was in service of these attitudes. Like, you know, ‘We really don’t want a woman commander in chief.'”

Her opponent — real estate billionaire and reality TV star, Donald Trump, a political novice who had previously defeated 16 GOP primary challengers.

“He was quite successful in referencing a nostalgia that would give hope, comfort, settle grievances, for millions of people who were upset about gains that were made by others because—” Clinton said.

“What you’re saying is millions of white people,” Pauley said.

“Millions of white people, yeah,” Clinton replied. “Millions of white people.”

Yes, she brought up the supposed Russian interference by phishing the DNC emails that showed the organization colluding with party higher ups to manipulate the primary in Hillary’s favor:

And then the Russians. American intelligence began picking up signals that Moscow was attempting to influence the election in Trump’s favor — both by hacking into Democratic National Committee e-mails and by spreading false information online.

“The forces that were at work in 2016 were unlike anything that I’ve ever seen or read about. It was a perfect storm,” Clinton said.

Pauley then pressured Hillary to admit the mistakes she made that contributed to her loss. Hillary mentioned one of her crimes…wait, I mean, mistakes:

“Oh, I think the– the most important of the mistakes I made was using personal email,” Clinton said.

A stream of explanations for her decision to use a private email server while she was secretary of state never satisfied critics or the press.

“I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, that was my responsibility,” she said. “It was presented in such a negative way, and I never could get out from under it. And it never stopped.”

Not even after the director of the FBI, James Comey, cleared her of any criminal charges.

“We cannot find a case that would support bringing criminal charges on these facts,” Comey said, while adding a post-script that stuck: “There is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.”

“I don’t know quite what audience he was playing to, other than– maybe some, you know, right-wing commentators, right-wing members of Congress, whatever,” Clinton said.

(Or maybe he was playing to the audience of EVERYONE. Just saying.)

Hillary still believes that Comey’s last minute revelation that some of Hillary’s emails appeared on aide Huma Abedin’s husband’s (the infamous Anthony Weiner) computer was the final nail in her campaign’s coffin:

“Eleven days before the election. And it raised the specter that, somehow, the investigation was being reopened,” Clinton said. “It just stopped my momentum. Now, remember this, too, Jane. At the same time he does that about a closed investigation, there’s an open investigation into the Trump campaign and their connections with Russia. You never hear a word about it. And when asked later, he goes, ‘Well, it was too close to the election.’ Now, help me make sense of that. I can’t understand it.”

Yet, Hillary admitted that her tone in the campaign didn’t strike with many Americans. You know, the many she earlier implied were racists:

“I understood that there were many Americans who, because of the financial crash, there was anger,” she said. “And there was resentment. I knew that. But I believed that it was my responsibility to try to offer answers to it, not to fan it. I think, Jane, that it was a mistake because a lot of people didn’t wanna hear my plans. They wanted me to share their anger. And I should’ve done a better job of demonstrating I get it.”

Hillary also used the leaked Access Hollywood tape that showed Trump talking about getting away with grabbing women in private areas because he is famous as prep for a debate with Trump:

“After we heard him admitting and laughing about sexually assaulting women and being able to get away with it because if you’re a star, you can do anything. So in my debate prep, we practiced this,” she said. “The young man playing Trump would stalk me. And I practiced keeping my composure. I practiced not getting rattled. Well, it’s one thing to practice it. It’s another thing to be in front of, you know, 50 million, 60 million, 70 million people and having him scowling and leering and moving up on me. And– it– it was so discombobulating.

“And so while I’m answering questions, my mind is going, ‘Okay, do I keep my composure? Do I act like a president?’ Or do I wheel around and say, ‘Get outta my space. Back up, you creep’? Well, you know, I didn’t do the latter. But I think in this time we’re in, particularly in this campaign, you know, maybe I missed a few chances.”

Many on the left thought the Access Hollywood tape would end Trump, but it didn’t. It may have had something to do with Hillary’s husband former President Bill Clinton, who has been accused by numerous women of rape and sexual assault. Not only did Hillary stick with him, but she also attacked those alleged victims while claiming to be a feminist.

But still, as she has since the defeat, she placed blame elsewhere. Last week, some people leaked excerpts of the memoir where Hillary lashed out at her opponent Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) for causing “lasting damage” with his personal attacks against her.

Good she is giving up being a candidate, because she really sucks at it.

ask Billy Bob about the shrew he married and why she didn’t satisfy ANY men – and why Huma stayed with her and married The Hot Dog as a beard.

NO! NO! NO! We MUST have Hitlery as a candidate. IT’S STILL HER TURN! No single person displays the hubris of the socialist party like Hitlery! She HAS to run again! HITLERY 2020 CUZ IT’S STILL HER TURN!

I was hoping she would run again. Can you imagine the entertainment value in a primary with Hilary, Bernis, Kamala, Michelle and the fake Indian. Fighting over each other to see who can promise the most freebies!

Oh. I gotta rush over to EBay and bid on that bridge she’s selling.

Oh.. thank you lord! 🙂

What difference, at this point, does it make?

…as she clears a path for her dear daughter. Watch out!

Yes, she is done as a candidate – she expects to be handed the Orb and Scepter to rule simply because she is HILLARY!

I just want to say something to those millions of white people – thank you.

One white guy in particular told Hillary just a few days before the election that she could lose – and not because of Comey, but because her campaign had been tone-deaf to the economic issues facing working class whites. I think his name was Bill Clinton.

Almost a year after being done as a candidate, HRC realizes that she’s done being a candidate.

The idiot finally got the memo.

The corrupt, scummy traitor should be dangling at the end of a rope.

Now if only she would give up trying to be an American.

Just more Clintonian BS.

She said she’d never run for office again after her shellacking from Obama. She was lying then, just as she’s lying now. She’ll run again if she can wrangle it … even as an independent if the Dems won’t put up with her any more.

Both of the Clintons are obsessed with all-consuming hungers. Billy Jeff always seemed a bit vague about it; of all our Presidents, he seemed the most mystified by the office once he reached it, and never really figured out what he was supposed to do. He spent an awful lot of time telling us how great he was going to be … but he never got around to actually doing anything great. Or even anything adequate. Though on a more minor note, he did always want to be JFK … but he couldn’t swing that, either. Just compare Monica Lewinsky and Marilyn Monroe to realize the extent of his failure.

Hillary knows what she’s always wanted, and that’s to be The First Woman President. Nothing else is important (although the vast piles of crooked money probably soothe her nerves a bit).

She’ll be back if she can possibly manage it.

She doesn’t seem to fit in with the Dem’s current plans, though. Just plain “corruption as usual” isn’t going to get them back in control, so they’re wrestling with going the full faux-socialist route (I say “faux” because they’ll never abandon big money, which would make them lousy socialists), or the Blame Everything On White People route (the path I predict they’ll actually take). Hillary really has nothing to contribute to either option.

So an independent run isn’t out of the question. Fortunately Hillary’s not terribly good at anything, so I expect that such an effort will fizzle before it really starts, no matter how much money she can con rich rubes into donating.

Oh come on, give her some credit. If the Dims go full-on “blame whitey” she can be that loving abuela that all the dreamers are missing, and she can bust out the stash of hot sauce from her purse to go on the collard greens she’ll eat with all the sisters at the salon. LOL, she can’t even pander convincingly.

A “perfect storm” indeed.

Who would have ever thought that a major party would run a candidate so flawed? One with such a long, public history of failure, of deceit, corruption and outright criminality? A candidate so utterly unlikable? Who would have ever thought such a candidate would run such a crap campaign, failing to even visit several key battle-ground states? Or that the candidate wouldn’t even answer a single unscripted question from the media in an entire year heading up to the election.

Indeed, not a single person could have guessed that such a shitty candidate would run such a shit campaign running on such a shit platform. Truly historic.

“Who would have ever thought that a major party would run a candidate so flawed?”

Well, it did work for them with Obama…

Hillary never tells the truth. If she says she’s not running, that is solid proof that she is running again.

The young man playing Trump would stalk me. And I practiced keeping my composure. I practiced not getting rattled. Well, it’s one thing to practice it. It’s another thing to be in front of, you know, 50 million, 60 million, 70 million people and having him scowling and leering and moving up on me. And– it– it was so discombobulating.

In other words she telling us she could not win a trial at the moot court level but we should trust her to be lead country in a global multiparty game with multi-trillion dollar stakes, or higher, the fate of the country or mankind itself.

She lost the stare-down contest with Trump at the debate. She probably would shit in her pants suit if he had to stare-down N. Korea’s Kim or even “allies” like the duplicitous Saudis. Hell, she probably couldn’t stare-down George C. Scott in the courtroom scene in Anatomy of a Murder while reading a script.

She’d probably give Kim a ‘reset’ button with the wrong language attached (as she did to the Russians.)
    https://gop.com/clintons-reckless-reset-7-years-later/

Then she’d sell him nuclear secrets like bill clinton did in selling China missile technology:
“Bill Clinton essentially wiped out any strategic advantage the U.S. had by selling advanced U.S. missile technology to our enemy, the People’s Republic of China… The Clinton administration accepted millions of dollars from the military and intelligence services of at least one hostile foreign power. All of this was done in exchange for illegal campaign contributions from a massive totalitarian country determined to eclipse the U.S. as a world superpower.”
    http://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/265200/flashback-bill-clinton-gave-china-missile-matthew-vadum

Is there any further proof necessary this woman and her sleazy ‘husband’ are traitors, let alone hillary “smartest woman in the world” clinton being a contrivance on the scale of obama?

The comedy continues – at taxpayer expense. (Why are we still funding PBS??) —

Charlie Rose’s PBS show Wednesday, Amie Parnes of The Hill, co-author of the book about hillary clinton’s failed campaign, talked about Clinton’s brilliance. (!) Parnes insisted: “She could do anything. She’s one of the smartest people – she will always be the smartest woman in the room, I think.”

    Now that is funny.

I’ll believe it when I don’t see it.

She said the same thing after losing the nomination in 2008.

“Clinton, who lost the Democratic presidential nomination to Barack Obama, said “No” three different times when asked by NBC’s Ann Curry “Will you ever run for president again? Yes or No?””

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/10/12/hillary-clinton-says-she-wont-run-for-president-again/

“The forces that were at work in 2016 were unlike anything that I’ve ever seen or read about. It was a perfect storm.”

The forces she’s referring to are being surprisingly unpopular overshadowed only by being enormously uninspiring. You’d think that someone with such a highly touted resume of qualifications for the job would be ready for such things.

“The forces that were at work in 2016 were unlike anything that I’ve ever seen or read about. It was a perfect storm.”

No kidding. And all of Hillary’s wounds were self-inflicted.

Getting caught running rent-a-rioters had to hurt, and yet there was the evidence, on video from hundreds of phones, and in the Federal election payment database.

Getting caught depriving the Sanders delegates did not help.

Neither did getting caught running around telling Goldman Sachs that she had different public and private positions.

Oh, and those attempts to paint DJT as an abuser of women were predicted here in advance, as well as the ultimate result (ineffective).

But the absolute corkers were picking a fight with a green, cartoon frog, and then doubling down by calling a quarter of all Americans a basket of deplorables, all for paying attention to a candidate who was talking about the issues instead of engaging in character assassination.

I was really hoping she runs in 2020. Oh well. she’s been known to lie before.

Run Hilly Run 2020

I suspect the DNC has suggested Hillary cool it on the pre-presidential run she’s amping up for because none of their incumbents or prospective candidates wants her name attached to them in any fashion. So, Hillary denies ever running again in a national TV interview watched by dozens and dozens of viewers. Probably one of two things going on here:

1. Hell yes, she intends on running in 2020. Of all her faults, lies, and crimes, lying is hardly an obstacle. If that doesn’t work out, then…..

2. She can’t run again in 2020 due to lack of donor support, but wants to stay close to whichever Democrat does run in 2020 in order to keep her level of influence as high as possible. If her candidate wins, she’ll divvy up that access and influence so she can sell it through her ‘charity’ org, the Clinton Foundation.

She doesn’t want to run as a candidate for her party and face a primary again, she wants to be anointed.

I have no doubt that a “Draft Hillary” campaign will have her blushingly accepting her party’s nomination in all humility.

Crooked Hilary, “I am done with being a candidate……Advise to crooked Hilary, check yourself into an alcohol free assisted living facility.

The Friendly Grizzly | September 11, 2017 at 5:20 pm

We won’t have Hillary to kick around anymore.

Thanks Trump!

This is just precious: “The young man playing Trump would stalk me. And I practiced keeping my composure. I practiced not getting rattled. Well, it’s one thing to practice it. It’s another thing to be in front of, you know, 50 million, 60 million, 70 million people and having him scowling and leering and moving up on me. And– it– it was so discombobulating.

So, even after practicing, trying to act competent in front of a friendly audience was beyond her abilities. What on EARTH would she do if she actually became, oh, I don’t know, maybe president? and something bad happened, and she didn’t get a chance to practice for it? Something unimaginable, like a hurricane dumping enough water on Houston to fill the Great Salt Lake, twice, leaving unimaginable devasation in its wake? Or a huge hurricane threatening to wipe Florida off the map? Or a nutcase in North Korea practicing with his ICMBs and ramping up his nuclear capabilities? Or a Carrington Event/EMP that fried the electrical grid?

Or even Gaia forbid, someone telling her girls are oogie and pulling her hair!

GAH! Thank God we dodged this bullet.
