Right wing smear machine to blame for Elizabeth Warren’s Cherokee problem (again)

Right wing smear machine to blame for Elizabeth Warren’s Cherokee problem (again)

Hey, you know who is to blame for Elizabeth Warren’s false claim to be Cherokee?

Definitely not Elizabeth Warren if you are a defender of Elizabeth Warren in Massachusetts.  No, this is far deeper and vaster than Elizabeth Warren, it goes well into the world of “right wing extremists” according to Warren’s press secretary.

And now, according to the left-wing Boston Phoenix, there’s a vast right wing conspiracy, Massachusetts voters are about to get an up-close look at the right-wing smear machine:

Massachusetts races have rarely drawn the full attention  of what I have previously dubbed the movement-conservative marketplace, so  people here have mostly witnessed its ugliness from a distance, if they’ve  noticed at all

But the intense interest on the right for the  re-election of Brown — and the mocking demonization of Warren — ensures that  plenty of money will be spent attacking her, while conservative consumers lap it  up. One major site, Michelle Malkin’s hotair.com, ran 27 posts about Warren in  May alone.

Once they’ve zeroed in on an enemy, as they have with  Warren, the appetite of these national dirt-diggers is insatiable. And nobody  here in the state is doing anything but encouraging them…

As for the right-wing smear machinery, they will keep  churning out material, which will seep into the state through the blogosphere,  direct mail (which is not included in the Warren-Brown “People’s Pledge” against  third-party campaign spending), and radio. That’s what they do — as  Massachusetts is about to learn all too well.

First of all, Michelle Malkin doesn’t own Hot Air anymore — you need to catch up on Who’s Who in the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.

Second of all, give the conspiracy some credit for electing Brown in the first place — we are the ones who made Martha Coakley refuse to shake hands with fans outside Fenway, who told Coakley to take Christmas off, and who slipped the question to David Gergen to ask about the Kennedy seat at the debate.

Yeah, that’s how good we are when we want to be.

And we want to be really good in the Brown-Warren race.

We’ve been planning this since the mid-1980s, when we told Warren to list herself as Native American for the law faculty directory so she could make it to the list of “Minority Law Teachers”; we submitted the plagiarized phony Cherokee recipes to Pow Wow Chow and put Warren’s name on them; we convinced Warren to report herself as Native American to Penn and Harvard Law; we convinced the Harvard Women’s Law Journal to list Warren as a Woman of Color in Legal Academia; we told Harvard to promote Warren as a Native American hire.

Yeah, we were there when it mattered, and we also told Warren to pretend she didn’t know about any of those things and to pin the blame on her Aunt Bea for telling stories about high cheekbones.

I told you, when we’re good, we’re really good.

And we will get better before it’s done.

Actually, we’re actually a Front that’s faking not keeping secrets very well, to hide the Truly Vast Right Wing Conspiracy 🙂

Exactly who’s idea was it to have Elizabeth list the beloved Auntie as “White” on her death certificate? That wasn’t Elizabeth’s fault. She wanted her Auntie buried in the “Whites Only” section of the cemetery.

Now, not only are we attacking Elizabeth, but her family and her dead aunt. Have we no shame? Where is the humanity? The only hope for the party of stupid is the party of stupider.

BTW, Professor you forgot that it was us conservatives that convinced her that she was the first breast feeding mother to take the bar exam.

I am now convinced this woman is a sociopath. More proof that liberalism is a severe mental disorder.

Henry Hawkins | July 3, 2012 at 9:32 pm

Boy, these right wing conservative conspiracist bloggers sure are a sarcastic lot, lol.

Warren is not a sociopath. She is a liar, of course. She’s a bubble-wrapped liberal. She’s spent so much of her life inside the bubble where no one will challenge her lies, indeed, where fellow bubblites encouraged and abetted the lies, that she forgot to tighten up the lies when she had to leave the bubble to make campaign appearances. She forgot there are actually people outside the bubble who hold strange and sinister values. Like honesty and personal responsibility.

Well, I’m glad I read this post (as I’m always glad to read your posts). I hadn’t known Michelle had sold HotAir. I thought they still referred to her as the boss. I guess they stopped a bit over 2 years ago. But googling that led me to info that Hugh Hewitt (another Salem radio person) is still a Catholic. I thought he stopped that way more than two years ago… (but we’d welcome him back!)

Many years, when the great herds still roamed the plains, the great Crow shaman, Right Wing Hawk, made a dream walk on the full moon just as it was eaten by the black wolf that hunts the sky. The medicine was greater still, because in the far north, a white buffalo had been born and the old men of many tribes had pow-wow to smoke the peace pipe.

Upon mother earth, the west winds blew from the great sunset mountains, bringing the spirits of wisdom, prophecy and dreams together in brother Right Wing Hawk’s medicine lodge.

As the moon returned from the belly of the black wolf of the sky, the silent coyotes resumed their song and the night birds told of good spirits roaming the night. Filled with All Wisdoms, brother Right Wing Hawk uttered these words:

I see the evil breath of old coyote trickster enter the body of a white man. White man will spawn many children with his evil seed, and they will go into all the lodges of the white man’s villages. These evil ones will seek to become chieftains so they can enslave both white and Indian. These evil ones will call themselves friend of the People but will enslave us with white man’s poison of drink and evil gifts. He will take from Us the buffalo, the Way we have had since the sun began and our pride. He will put us in a prison without walls and call it mercy. Some of these evil ones will proclaim that they are one of Us to confound and confuse all. Our children and their children for all time must seek out the evil spawn of coyote and turn him from his ways.

Thus speaketh the Crow shaman, Right Wing Hawk.

Of Warren, my granny (who had much, much higher cheekbones and was born in Isom Springs, Indian Territory) would’ve said, “If’n a person gits caught in a lie, an’ everbody knows it’s a lie, they gotta ‘fess up or convince folks they’s crazy. Nuthin’ else ‘splains it!”

lt just struck me. Lizzie eats dog. What else can Pow Wow Chow be? ls she oriental? lt would explain her recent yellow palor. And eating of dog.

    nordic_prince in reply to secondwind. | July 3, 2012 at 10:52 pm

Well, she sure doesn’t eat crow – or humble pie, for that matter.

oldleprechaun in reply to secondwind. | July 4, 2012 at 12:24 pm

OK, I’m confused. You wrote, “And eating of dog.” As a dog-lover, I need to know if she contributed to “Pow Wow Chow”, or BOW WOW Chow. Can anyone clarify that for me?

    Thanks.

Clarification: The secret ingredient hidden in plain sight , is a dog of the Chow variety. Hence the oriental take. The recipe is in both books. You must use a Chow dog or it wont taste right.

The Democrats always tell you what they fear.

Elizabeth Warren fears the Cherokee issue won’t go away before election day, and she’s desperate to talk about anything, anything else.

She committed ethnic fraud so that she could grab plum jobs at Penn and Harvard Law. She elbowed out of the way another deserving person (who know not who). She wrote dubious articles about bankruptcy and used those to weasel her way into the inner elite circles of Democratic Washington. Having failed to get the job she really wanted, that of heading the ‘Consumer Protection’ Agency (as a consumer, I need protection from HER), she’s going for the big consolation prize. This is a two-fer for the Democrats; they get rid of the sharp stick in their eye named ‘Scott Brown’ and get the ‘Kennedy seat’ back in their hands; and they take care of Prof. Warren, who was promised a sweet job in Washington as part of the second-to-most inner circle.

She’s caught. She knows it. She’s going to do everything she can to wiggle out of it and the MSM is going to help her. The average voter may not understand the bankruptcy paper issue, the consumer protection issue, and so on.

But ethnic fraud? So as to grab a piece of affirmative action for herself? That the voters will understand.

Keep hammering. The voters will get it.

I was able to attend my VRWC chapter meeting this weekend. After we performed the ritual handshake and repeated the pledge our leader pointed us to this post by Keith Hennessey listing the groups exempt from the Obamacare tax. Interesting note, members of Indian tribes are exempted from the tax. Perhaps we could get Prof Warren to clarify whether we need actual proof of tribe membership for that exemption or would family lore suffice?

BMF in reply to Mary Sue. | July 4, 2012 at 12:14 pm

Well, that is good news for us all.

Scientists tell us that all homo sapiens originated from Africa. In other words, we all originated from the same DNA–the same ancient DNA in the American Indians as well.

To be percise we are more than mere blood brothers. We are family of the first homo spaien who started the line.

We need no more proof of this than the fact that we all have cheek bones–some are just a little higher than others.

Therefore, it would logically seem that we are all exempt from Obamacare.

Midwest Rhino | July 3, 2012 at 11:27 pm

If Lizzy wasn’t wearing makeup to fake a Native American Indian look … she wouldn’t be so “smeared” from people that put their finger on the problem. Just come clean Elizabeth! Then no more “smearing”.

What about her phony academic research papers? Those also are gonna leave a mark.

Warren didn’t have enough going for her to get by on the gender card alone, she had to drum up an Indian ancestor to fulfill Hahavahd’s diversity dreams. And the beat goes on, much to her chagrin.

yes, it’s outrageous that warren used a phony ethnic identity to further her career and all that…but boy am i ever tired of hearing about it.

DocWahala in reply to el polacko. | July 4, 2012 at 1:17 am

Interesting – I tend to like to hear “Truth” again…and again…and again…and once more for the road.

DocWahala – reporting in from cubicle #24, Sub-Basement 14, of VRWC Chapter 82-XY.

One keeps at it because it annoys her & amuses you. Which further annoys her . . amusing you . . which begins to distract her from her message of lies ; delighting you . . because then her media allies are taken out of their rythm , further making her more incoherant , inceasing your fun , which further drags the dems into the spotlite exposing them as self serving dolts ; which makes her more incoherant , furthering your enjoyment. Thru it all the Taxichussets voter is feeling more & more uncomfortable pulling the automatic dem lever , because they no longer can maintain the feeling of proper thing to do by so doing. Out of habit many probably will still do so but they will be fewer in number. Even if she wins she & her party now look like a self serving crime syndicate. Unlike 3 years ago when dem voters felt they were the hip crowd ; they now feel more like willing dupes of that syndicate. The Obama girl is a case in point. Lizzys claim of being an advocate for the middle class is revealed as phony as her indian heritage.

Professor, considering her history of poor scholarship, outright lies and manipulation how could her allies do any different? If you can’t argue the law, argue the facts. If you can’t argue the facts, argue something else.

professor, keep Ms Warren in the spotlight until she rides off into the sunset.

I notice the classically trained professional journalist (as opposed to bloggers who are not even 1/32nd professional journalists) that wrote that piece did not deny or dispute any of the right wing smear machine claims or provide any evidence that Ms. Warren is actually who she says she is.

DocWahala in reply to Anchovy. | July 4, 2012 at 1:21 am

Anchovy – Now, now…they’re not supposed to tell us “facts”. Journalism isn’t about “facts”. Journalism is about “educating” the masses. Isn’t it obvious they believe their “sacred mission” is to tell us how to think?

DocWahala – sleeps better knowing journalists no longer man the walls.

gs in reply to Anchovy. | July 4, 2012 at 8:59 am

    This.

The Left tries to ensure that opposing sources of information are not even given a hearing. It does so with labels like racist, sexist, homophobe, or, in this case, ‘right swing smear machine’.

I feel the same way about Brown v. Fauxchahontis as I do about Romney v. Obama. Both Brown and Romney are typical blue state Republicans (RINOs). But if the country has gone so insane as to vote these buffoonish leftists in, there is no hope.

rdm in reply to Malonth. | July 4, 2012 at 6:51 am

And people like you are why the left inexorably expands their influence: YOu are unwilling to take even small advantages unless they are ‘pure’ enough for you.

“that’s how good we are when we want to be.”

If only.

We’ve been planning this since the mid-1980s

Reckon I’ll wait a few months before I tell them about the Time Machine.

Karl Rove took the Weather, Disaster & Mayhem Machine out of storage yesterday. As soon as we get the ice-maker bucket replaced, repair the mood lighting and adjust the center set of caterpillar tracks, she’ll be ready to go.

    BTW, love yo avatar!!!1

I hope he installed those extra cup holders we requested. Gettin’ tired of beers spilling when we run over those Occutards.

Oh, thanks. It does rankle the precious little leftists. They’re so cute when they spit and sputter.

Hahaha! I suppose Dubyah (GWBush) put it in storage when he left office, after he caused that hurricane thingy….. (what was it again? Katrina?!), and after destroying Haiti and causing that earth quake….oh, and the tsunami in Asia!!

Yeah, Dubyah – he was always so incorrigible!! Good thing Rove knows how to use that thing!!!

Thanks for keeping all of the VRWC members in the loop! /sarc (for those who can’t tell)

      Heeheehee! 😀

I sent @dbernstein a link to my take on Elizabeth Warren at thewashingtonfancy.com, suggesting he lighten up a little and try to enjoy some “pseudo” “right wing” political satire. http://thewashingtonfancy.com/2012/05/22/elizabeth-warren-attends-cambridge-aaaa-meeting-affirmative-action-abusers-anonymous/11684 http://thewashingtonfancy.com/2012/06/04/one-thousand-white-women-a-cherokee-story-tops-elizabeth-warrens-summer-reading-list/11783

Deja vu…

Who was that other leftist dirtbag “professor” who claimed he was a tribal American until the spotlight of truth sent the vile cockroach scurrying into obscurity?

Ah yes, Ward “Little Eichmanns” Churchill.

The most pathetic thing about the Brown vs Warren race is that conservatives are forced to support a man like Scott Brown for the very reasons expressed in that Boston Phoenix article.

Conservatives need to wake up and understand something very basic: most people are just plain stupid. It’s really that simple. Most people do not want to be free. They want to be taken care of. That is the default human position. What makes America exceptional is the idea that being American makes it possible to dream of something better than that. There is no such thing as a “race” of Americans. It’s just an idea. And the Left, whether you call them liberal/progressive/socialist/communist/statist or Democrat it all means the same thing.

They hate this country and everything it stands for and their goal is the destruction of civil society from within so they can take control.

Scott Brown voted for Dodd/Frank because he’s just as stupid and unprincipled as the people whose votes he wants to get. Ninety five percent of the people who read that article from the Phoenix will believe every word it. Most of the rest don’t give a crap.

We need the Republicans to take control of the Senate. So we need Scott Brown to hold that seat. But nobody should kid themselves that he will ever do the right thing because he’s already proved he’s too stupid to vote against a bill authored by the two biggest crooks to ever serve in Congress.

Insufficiently Sensitive | July 4, 2012 at 12:33 pm

Putting the spotlight on those who screech against the ‘rightwingsmearmachine’, it’s a tactic of the Left which Richard Fernandez, over at Belmont Club, has absolutely nailed today. Lies and projection in the service of the nomenklatura:

The poisonous academic theories that Gelertner rails on about are sold not by argument but by disinformation; dezinformatsiya and bullying. They are advanced by the process of group think and peer pressure. This is how the theories of Climate Change, Critical Race Theory and alternative history became the “scientific consensus”

– and how the Boston Phoenix attempts to deflect attention from Elizabeth Warren’s crooked tactics of entitlement to mendacious namecalling against those who have noticed her behavior.

http://pjmedia.com/richardfernandez/2012/07/03/inversion/

At least she didn’t find out about us wiping out the herds of crab that once roamed the plains of the Southeast, which were a traditional part of her ancestors’ diet….Until some of her other ancestors made them pack and head west. The Cherokees, not the crabs. Does anyone think she realizes that she has rightwing extremists among her ancestors? I’m pretty sure she’d go on the warpath.

This reminds me of Hillary Clinton defending her husband on the Today Show in the middle of the Lewinsky scandal.

Hillary knew the truth at that point but still unleashed the “Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy lie.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwtkorQKGFE

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/special/clinton/stories/hillary012898.htm

The press let Hillary get away with it. She used VRWC against Republicans during the 2008 presidential campaign.

The media knew the term was a lie shortly after she said it but continued to let her and others use it. If they called her on it, the term would have never been used again.

But back to Professor Paints on Fire. She can honestly be labeled a lying left-wing extremist.

I imagine The Boston Phoenix feels Fast & Furious is another right-wing witch hunt.

The Phoenix has it all wrong, as usual. It was Justice Roberts who outed her as Fauxcahontas, and of course it was also he who signed her up for Hahvard as Native American.

Its always those darned Republicans pointing out our Leftist lies that causes all our Leftist problems…darn those extremist right wing Republicans always having to tell the truth, don’t they know the ends justify the means?

[…] » Right wing smear machine to blame for Elizabeth Warren’s Cherokee problem (again) – Le·g… […]

The Boston Phoenix speaks with a forked-tongue.
