Nancy Pelosi, dragging Chuck Schumer along by his collar, caused enormous damage in delaying both the massive $2 trillion relief bill and then the follow up expansion of funding of the Paycheck Protection Program. Remember when the media lost its mind over closure of some national monuments during various Obama-era government shutdowns (which weren't really shutdowns, more scalebacks)? Pelosi has caught none of that hell despite causing millions of workers and thousands of businesses real pain.

After the postponement of this year's Tokyo Olympics, Germany has called off Oktoberfest set to take place between September 19 and October 4. With Germany struggling to contain Wuhan coronavirus, "the risk is simply too big," Bavarian state Prime Minister Markus Söder said while announcing his decision. "To live with coronavirus means to live carefully till there is a vaccine or a medicine," he added.

The Labor Department revealed another 4.4 million Americans filed unemployment claims last week in the midst of the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak. Americans receiving unemployment benefits hit 16 million. The previous record was 12 million in 2010.
