Wuhan Coronavirus Tag

As I read today about how the first truckloads of the Pfizer Wuhan coronavirus vaccine were rolled out this morning for delivery and distribution to frontline healthcare workers and nursing homes, my thoughts turned to the media's/left's eight-months-long effort to undercut President Trump's claims on various treatments for the virus as well as his touting of an accelerated vaccine timeline.

Business owners throughout New York are suffering and struggling to pay bills and feed their families, largely due to the COVID policies of Governor Andrew Cuomo. Just this week, he reinstated the ban on indoor dining. None of this is going to prevent Cuomo from celebrating, however. This week, he is holding a virtual reception as a campaign fundraiser with Hollywood celebrities, a key constituency of the Democrat party.

Few aspects of the holidays can be more stressful than travel. For some families, the challenges are compounded because they are dealing with tired, hungry, and fussy babies and toddlers. When government mask mandates are imposed, with questionable effectiveness in reducing the spread of the virus, it can result in a real "nightmare before Christmas."

New York City residents may be strapped with an additional $3 delivery surcharge for any package not containing food or medicine. The proposal would funnel the delivery fees to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority which is facing a massive budget shortfall (maybe because they keep shutting the city down?).

The Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) already proved they don't care about kids because reopening the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is based on "sexism, racism, and misogyny." The CTU filed an injunction, asking "the Illinois Educational Labor Relations Board to halt the return to in-person learning until terms can be 'determined by good-faith collective bargaining instead of by executive fiat.'" The CTU also said, "a strike isn't out of the question."
