The Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee published the final report on the committee’s investigation into possible collusion between President Donald Trump and Russia during the election.

After a yearlong investigation, the members “found no evidence that the Trump campaign colluded, coordinated, or conspired with the Russian government.”

Congress released its 2,232 page, $1.3 trillion omnibus bill late Wednesday night, which is only about 48 hours before the deadline for passage.

That’s right. Lawmakers have basically 24 hours to read through the bill and pass it by Friday to avoid a government shutdown.

Yes, the government is facing another shutdown if Congress does not pass a spending bill to fund the government through the end of September by midnight on Friday.

It may not be that easy since some Republicans have scoffed at the $1.2 trillion price tag.
