According to South Korea’s Yonhap News Service, North Korea abruptly ended discussions with South Korea and is threatening to cancel the upcoming summit with the United States.

North Korea believes the U.S./South Korean joint military drills are “provocation” and preparation for an invasion.

Cray Turmon, a homeless man living in Columbia, SC, rushed to the aid of a police woman who had been shoved to the ground by a suspect.  With his assistance, the officer made the arrest, and Turman received a certificate recognizing his “extraordinary actions to preserve life and aid public safety.”

Federal Authorities Arrest Man for Sending Death Threats to Sen. Tim Scott

Tuesday, federal authorities arrested a Georgia man for allegedly threatening the life of Republican South Carolina lawmaker, Sen. Tim Scott.

According to local news reports, Jason Kenneth Bell was arrested for calling Sen. Scott’s office almost a dozen times, threatening to kill him.

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster (R) has issued an executive order that cuts public funding to abortion clinics in the state.

McMaster demanded that the state’s Medicaid agency ask the “federal government to exclude abortion clinics from the state’s Medicaid provider.”

Dylann Roof pleaded guilty to state charges, which included murder and attempted murder, for the 2015 massacre at Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC. Circuit Judge J.C. Nicholson sentenced Roof to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
