Apple will return Parler to the app store after the social media platform made changes to moderate hate speech:
Apple has approved Parler's return to the iOS app store following improvements the social media company made to better detect and moderate hate speech and incitement, according to a letter the iPhone maker sent to Congress on Monday.

Democrats were eager to seize upon the events at the Capitol on January 6th as their Reichstag moment in order to clamp down on "domestic terrorism," to militarize DC by keeping the National Guard in DC despite there being absolutely no reason for them to be there, and to use as a political weapon against duly-elected Congressional Republicans.

Parler was made a scapegoat for the January 6, 2021, Capitol Hill Riot. As we have explored many times, the attempt to blame Parler was in bad faith and contradicted by the Department of Justice's own criminal charging documents which focused much more heavily on organizing activity on Facebook and Twitter.

Despite the attempts of the cabal of Amazon Web Services, Google, Apple, and many other high tech monsters to take it down, Parler has been brought back to life. It's unclear if Parler is completely back, but I just logged in and the Legal Insurrection page is up and running and we still have almost 400,000 followers. Our prior "parleys" have not populated yet, but I assume that will take time.

The coordinated Big Tech deplatforming of Parler is looking more and more suspect. Last month, I reviewed every arrest report the DOJ had made available at that time, and the overwhelming number of social media posts cited in these reports were those posted on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. There was barely any mention of Parler.

Conservative commentator Dan Bongino has announced that he is leaving Twitter for good after his account was suspended for sharing the video of President Trump telling DC protesters to go home. Social media censorship and bans have increased in recent days, as even Trump was locked out of multiple accounts.
