Our "Virtual Reader Reception" is 7 p.m. Eastern tonight. See this post for more details. Registration ends at 3 p.m. Eastern today. This is a closed event. Pre-registration via Eventbrite is required. It will not be livestreamed.

Howdy! We're super excited about our first ever live (online) event. The discussion was hosted by moi, Legal Insurrection's Senior Contributing Editor and the Director of Operations and Editorial Development for the Legal Insurrection Foundation, Kemberlee Kaye. Legal Insurrection publisher and Cornell Law Professor, William Jacobson headed up the discussion.

NOTE: Event originally planned for Thursday night April 23, but has been moved to Sunday Night, April 26. at 8:30 p.m. We'd hoped to have have our next and third speaking tour and a handful of Reader Receptions in Florida this past March. But, like the rest of the world, our plans were foiled by a Chinese lab experiment gone wrong (or right).

I'm back from California. In less than 72 hours on the ground, I packed in three important events, including a talk on campus free speech and culture for the Cornell and Harvard Clubs in Orange County, a panel appearance about anti-Israel activism on campuses at the national conference of Alums for Campus Fairness, and our Legal Insurrection Reader Reception.

I don't have a fear of public speaking. I enjoy speaking in front of a crowd (and camera and microphone), even though I'm actually a fairly introverted person. I do fear showing up to speak and not having a crowd. So here's another reminder, I'm speaking in Houston on October 14 (with a separate LI Reader reception), Austin on October 15,  and D.C. on November 1.
