One of Rush Limbaugh’s classic maxims is that when it comes to liberals’ demands for investigations, it’s not the nature of the evidence; it’s the seriousness of the charge that matters.

Thomas Friedman provided a perfect illustration of Rush’s rule on today’s Meet the Press. Discussing the notion that the Trump campaign might...

Probably the one columnist I have critiqued more than any other in my blogging career is Thomas Friedman of The New York Times.

Friedman, one-time NY Times Jerusalem bureau chief, is considered The Times’ go-to expert on the Middle East, globalization and environmental issues.

However, when reading Friedman’s columns, it’s easy to see...

John Kerry’s testimony last week before Congress does not give confidence in the wisdom of his understanding.

1) When elephants crash land

Recently, I brought up an example of how Professor Barry Rubin handled a mistake. First he admitted it. Then he explained the forces involved. His behavior showed a few things.

1) He is serious about what he has written.

2) He respects his audience’s intelligence.

Neither of these qualities can...

When I first saw this, I was surprised.

I hadn’t heard about this before.

Specialty environmental reporting is going the way of the dodo. The New York Times and Washington Post are reducing their environmental only reportage. However in all this turmoil, there’s one intrepid columnist, Thomas Friedman, who persists...

We hear from critics of Israel that Israel needs a two-state solution to be  legitimate.

Without a Palestinian state, the argument goes, Israel will rule over millions of resentful Palestinians to whom it will have to deny their basic rights in order to maintain its Jewish nature. Or if Israel enfranchises...

The left’s alarming and increasingly blatant Anti-Semitism has reached new lows.  The New York Times International edition published an absolutely appalling cartoon depicting Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, who is featured as a dachshund, leading a presumably “blind” President Trump.
