Sen. Kristin Gillibrand (D-NY), one of the many running for the Democrat nomination for president, has championed herself as a top supporter of the #MeToo movement. But now Politico reported that an aide within Gillibrand's office resigned last summer due to the handling of her sexual harassment complaint against Abbas Malik, one of Gillabrand's top aides.

A grand jury in Cook Country has indicted Empire star Jussie Smollett on 16 felony counts for filing a false police report. Smollett had only received one felony charge for this last month. He claimed two white men in MAGA hats attacked him, yelling racist slurs.

Holy cow, what a drop off. The February jobs report shows the economy only added 20,000 jobs last month. Experts predicted 180,000 jobs. However, the unemployment rate fell to 3.8%.

It looks like the Senate may introduce its own resolution to condemn anti-Semitism as the House of Representatives drafts its own resolution in response to the latest anti-Semitic remarks from Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN). The Washington Examiner reported that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell found the rise in anti-Semitism "disturbing" and has concerns about it.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has come under fire since The Washington Examiner first reported that a complaint to the Federal Election Committee (FEC) claimed her top aide "funneled over $1 million in political donations into two of his own private companies." The mainstream media largely ignored the story until Ocasio-Cortez provided a non-response response.

The social justice warriors got to Martina Navratilova. The tennis legend has apologized for speaking the truth: having transgender women competing in women sports that depend on size and strength "would be 'cheating' because the athletes would have an 'unfair physical advantages.'" The remarks led to gay rights group Athlete Ally dropping her from the advisory board and removed her title as Athlete Ally Ambassador.

Patrick Moore, a co-founder of Greenpeace, tore Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez apart over her Green New Deal, calling her a "pompous little twit" because she doesn't seem to have any clue what it would take for her plan to work, realistically. "The problem with @AOC is she doesn't know whether or not she knows what she is talking about. Makes it harder to think straight," he wrote on Twitter.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler unleashed a probe into President Donald Trump's administration, businesses, and family on Monday morning. From Fox News:
Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., said Monday the committee served document requests to 81 agencies, entities and individuals, as Democrats unveiled a probe into "alleged obstruction of justice, public corruption, and other abuses of power by President Trump."

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) became the fourth Republican senator to voice his support on a resolution to block President Donald Trump's border wall emergency declaration. Paul wrote at FoxNews.com that he "cannot support the use of emergency powers to get more funding." At a GOP event, Paul told the audience that he cannot "vote to give the president the power to spend money that hasn’t been appropriated by Congress."
