On the weekend of the 4th, state police in Massachusetts ended up in an hours-long highway standoff with an armed group of men who identify as part of a group called "Rise of the Moors." They claim to be sovereign and above the laws of the United States. The national media is, for the most part, ignoring the story, and certainly is not giving it the obsessive coverage it would have received if the race of the group members was different.

A new poll has found that a majority of Americans don't believe that President Biden is really running the show and that the White House agenda is being driven by other people behind the scenes. There are power players behind the scenes in every administration, but in Biden's case, it's obviously a bigger factor.

Rising crime and dissatisfaction with the quality of life are steadily driving people out of San Francisco. It makes perfect sense. Why would people want to pay San Francisco prices if they don't even feel safe walking down the street? The number of people leaving or planning to leave should alarm city leaders.
