No, President Trump did not bow to the Saudi Arabian King as Obama did
Unless everyone who is over four feet tall “bows” when receiving a medal
President Trump was awarded a medal and dipped his head to receive it because he is considerably taller than King Salman of Saudi Arabia.
So of course, the left is coming unglued with screeching accusations of “hypocrisy” over Trump chastising then-president Obama for bowing to the Saudi Arabian king.

If you look at the UNCROPPED photo of Trump you can see plainly that in addition to the bowing of both his head and waist he is also bending both knees in an outwatd manner
According to both Miss Manners and Emily Post this is not a bow but a “CURTSEY”
It is done in social situations where great respect and humbleness must be shown, more so than s simple now with knees together as Obama did

A bow is defined as a bending of the upper body
A CURTSEY is much more humble sign of submission where in addition to the head and waist the knees are also bent
And the outwatd bending of the knees which is usually only done by females is by far the most humble

Actually it’s only a “courtesy” (all caps and misspelled, wow) if the head, waist and knees are all bent at the same time, which did not happen. Trump wasn’t sure how far to bend down and like any normal human he bent his head, then bent his waist, after realizing he was still to high (he is 6’2″ after all) he finally bent his knees to “squat” a bit so the frail 81 year old king who walks with a cane could get the medal around his head. But don’t let things like reality and facts get in the way of a good fantasy.
