DOJ Investigating Fairfax County DA Over Deals With Illegal Aliens

Descano’s office dropped over 40 charges against the alleged killer of Stephanie Minter.

The DOJ Civil Rights Division launched an investigation into Fairfax County, Virginia, District Attorney Steve Descano, over his sweetheart plea deals with illegal aliens.

The woke, George Soros-backed prosecutor has come under fire due to the many criminal illegal aliens he has released who end up committing horrific crimes.

“I write to inform you that the Department ofJustice is opening an investigation to determine whether the Office ofthe Fairfax Commonwealth’s Attorney (“OFCA”) has violated Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000d, et seq., or the Safe Streets Act, 34 U.S.C. § 10228, both of which prohibit recipients of Federal financial assistance from discriminating based upon race, color, or national origin,” Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division wrote to Descano. “Our investigation will also determine whether your office is engaged in a pattern or practice of depriving persons of rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States, pursuant to 34 U.S.C. § 12601.”

Descano has insisted his policies “are fair, legal, and reflect the values of” his community.

For example, we have Abdul Jalloh, an illegal alien from Sierra Leone, who allegedly stabbed to death Stephanie Minter, 41, at a Virginia bus stop.

It turns out Descano kept dropping charges against Jalloh before Minter’s murder.

Jollah previously faced “rape, malicious wounding, assault, identity theft, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, assault, and pickpocketing” charges.

It’s insane:

7News found Jalloh has more than 40 past charges in Fairfax County, ranging from rape to assault, and in almost every case, Descano’s office dropped the charges.

An email of a bond alert from August 2025 from a Fairfax County police employee to Assistant Chief Brooke Wright, which says Jalloh: has had over 100 involvements with FCPD over the years, resulting in multiple charges and arrests, spanning from theft to violent crimes against persons. JALLOH’s offenses began with domestic violence incidents and escalated to assaulting other victims and threats with weapons (knives). He has been involved in multiple stabbing incidents with victims identifying him as the offender in these cases. This year JALLOH has been the offender in a malicious wounding where he stabbed a man in May 2025, in which he received a bond on July 31, 2025— three weeks later, this incident occurred where he assaulted an older male and stomped his head into the ground.

Jollah’s constant releases led the Fairfax Police to warn Descano, warning him about what could (and eventually did happen) happen if he stays on the streets.

Here’s one email from a police major:

“I want to bring Mr. Jalloh’s release to your attention, because Mr. Jalloh is one of the repeat and violent offenders we discussed when we met. I wanted to get your background on why he is out so soon, and ask if his prior suspended sentence of, I believe, five years, was pursued by your office.”

“Unfortunately, based on the station’s numerous dealings with him, it is not a question of if, but rather when, he will maliciously wound or worse. Again, my role of keeping the public safe prompts me to follow up on his status.”

“Under my leadership, the Civil Rights Division will not allow local prosecutors to pick and choose winners based on their immigration status,” said Dhillon. “This investigation will uncover whether this prosecutor is putting the community at risk in offering sweetheart deals to illegal immigrants charged with serious crimes.”

love that harmeet

Harmeet rocks!

Is it mere coincidence that the amount of helpful activity occurring in the DOJ appears to have risen significantly since the departure of Pam Bondi?

Yes. The removal of Pan Bondi has had much in common with the removal of a sewer blockage.

The d/prog discrimination knows no bounds.. Sorry guys y’all ain’t supposed to be handing out softer more lenient sentences/plea deals or charging determinations based on national origin and whether it makes them more likely to be deported.

Cloward-Piven was a plan. But it can be a verb. How do you C-P a society into collapse, thus sparking a revolution? One way is to force it to start vigilantism for self-protection, thus justifying harsh government control of…practically everything without due process.
Am I paranoid enough?
