DOJ Investigating Letitia James Regarding Trump Civil Trial, Schiff for Mortgage Fraud

Attorney General Pam Bondi gave special prosecutor Ed Martin permission to investigate allegations of mortgage fraud allegedly committed by Sen. Adam Schiff

The Department of Justice made two big moves today!

Officials subpoenaed New York Attorney General Letitia James regarding possibly violating President Donald Trump’s rights during the civil trial and her investigation into the NRA.

Attorney General Pam Bondi gave special prosecutor Ed Martin permission to investigate allegations of mortgage fraud allegedly committed by Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA).

Letitia James and Donald Trump

A grand jury out of Albany, NY, will investigate the allegations of James violating Trump’s rights, according to Fox News.

The subpoenas supposedly demanded documents, including information about James’s civil lawsuit against Trump.

The civil lawsuit was such a sham. Absolutely bonkers. I mean, the banks had no problem with what he did. Anyone who has sold a house knows that you ask for more than what the house is worth. It’s called negotiations.

Not only the charges, but also Judge Arthur Engoron. The judge never hid his hatred for Trump and pretty much made it known how he would rule at the end of the case.

I’ll never forget Engoron telling the court during Trump’s testimony, “I don’t want to hear everything he has to say.”

James received her wish after the court told Trump to pay a $454 million fine for supposedly falsifying documents and inflating his assets.

Okay, I need to stop before my blood pressure goes through the roof.

Then there’s the NRA investigation.

It was a split decision. James wanted to dissolve the NRA outright, which the State Supreme Court struck down before the trial started.

The trial ended with kicking out the leader, Wayne LaPierre, and finding him liable for $5.4 million.

However, the court denied James’s request that a court-appointed monitor oversee the NRA.

Mortgage Fraud Allegations

Then we have Schifty Schiff, as Trump calls him. I can’t blame him. I don’t even want to be in the same room with this guy. Blech.

In November 2023, Leslie wrote about Schiff having a full-time house in Maryland despite claiming a “primary residence” in California.

CNN blew the lid off this controversy, too. Cracked me up.

The dude has a 3,420 square foot home in Maryland, and yet his “primary residence” in California is…a 650 square foot condo in Burbank.

How can a one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo be his primary residence when he has a wife and multiple kids?

The story went away until Trump revealed that Fannie Mae’s Financial Crimes Division concluded that Shifty Schiff “engaged in a sustained pattern of possible Mortgage Fraud.”

The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) sent the DOJ a criminal referral.

Did we ever get an update on the $450m judgment? Does he still owe it? Is it on appeal?

Still waiting. I wonder if he can prod the court and remind them that it’s his money the state has and he either wants it back or to try to appeal on the Federal level (if possible).

I believe James also is in front of a
grand jury on mortgage fraud ….

Yeah, let’s show the Democrats that our DOJ can walk and chew gum at the same time, just like theirs. Indict her on two charges at once. Courtrooms in different cities, scheduled on the same day, preferably days important to her re-election campaign. Just like the b* did to Trump.

I really love that photo up top. She looks like she’s posing for the prow of a ship. Let’s make sure it’s the Lusitania.

Yep. Knock the d/prog off their high horse, kick them and keep kicking them till they quit. Past time to become far more ruthless and utterly committed to winning these law fare contests than the d/prog are. Make them regret opening up law fare as political play for generations to come. So much so that they use it as a scary story for their children. Become the nightmare fuel.

“When you strike at the King, you must kill him”. Ralph Waldo Emerson

Well, it’s a start. How many years will we have to wait for the indictments? I can almost guaranty that her (expected) gubernatorial campaign is already raising money on the basis of this.

I think it’s going to come fast. At least for the mortgage stuff as that is all cut and dried paperwork. You either lied on the paperwork or you didn’t.

Could not have happened to a nicer couple. Those that live by the sword, wrongly applied, should know the pain it wields.

The New York appeals court is slow walking the appeal. I believe they don’t want this in federal court on appeal. I think they are trying to run out the clock so President Trump has to continue paying interest on the bond he was forced to put up.
James is more at risk from the mortgage fraud charges. They carry a stiffer penalty. Each payment made is mail/wire fraud if found guilty. She may never go to jail, but a long probation and disbarment are in her future.

they made up everything about trump and were still able to punish him in civil court

now these lefty thugs who sponsor and enjoy their cincy mob racist hate attacks are being investigated for

ACTUAL CRIMES

bondi for the win!

Some 10 months ago, we got …

NY appeals court seems open to altering Trump’s ‘troubling’ civil fraud penalty

In fact, the hearing before the New York Appeals Court (their top court) descended into the lawyers doing their best to move the blame for this legally challenged action from one lawyer to another in the hopes they wouldn’t be penalized. The court seems to move at the speed of paint drying while Hakeem Jeffries is watching it.

While I am horrified that American Politics has descended into seeking legal vengeance against political opponents, the Democrats are the ones who escalated things to this Banana Republic level. That behavior must be crushed or it will be repeated.

It’s going to take a brave and dedicated FBI Agent to go through Michelle Obama’s underwear drawer to look for secret documents but it has to be done.

We must reach Mutually Assured Destruction levels of deterrence, and if that means prosecuting Hillary, I’m fine with it.
