Democrat Tactic On Biden Family Corruption: “They’re going to make this the story of the addicted son and loving father”

There was a key moment during the ObamaCare debate that my eyes rolled so far back in my head that I nearly lost my balance. It was when some Democrat testified, near tears, that she personally knew a pair of spinster sisters who shared a single pair of dentures. Only one could eat food at a time because they had to switch out who was toothed and who was not.
Seriously? You, a multi-millionaire from “legal” (only for Congress) insider trading, literally know someone who cannot afford dentures and won’t fork out a grand to help them out?
That is when I well and truly understood how callous and disgusting Democrats are. But I also understood—after hearing false stories for decades about little old ladies eating cat food to survive—that Democrats don’t care about people at all. They care about control, they care about power. They can literally meet with and befriend people they claim can’t eat food without the benefit of shared dentures and amble off to their million-dollar homes to . . . rage at “America” for the injustice.
That’s not humanity, that’s not kind or compassionate or good. That’s callous and cruel and disgusting.
The “bleeding heart liberals” we all disdained aren’t bleeding hearts at all. They cynically use sometimes real world situations to tug heart strings in their never-ending bid to gain power, money, and control. That was the lesson I learned from that tearful shared dentures ‘narrative.’
And it’s evidenced again as the Democrat hacktivist media furiously spins, bobs, contorts, and weaves to turn the corrupt Biden family influence peddling ring into a story of victimization and fatherly love.

Everyone knows that the Biden family, including the sitting president, is neck-deep in corruption and influence peddling. It’s been out there for years, but now that the latest from Hunter Biden has been exposed, the Democrat activists in the legacy media cannot ignore it any longer.
So instead of ignoring it, they are spinning for their lives, asking the American people to feel sorry for grifting deadbeat dad and druggie prostitute hopper Hunter and to excuse his extortion of enemy foreign governments for cold, hard cash (in exchange for what?).

Because—cue the world’s smallest violin—Hunter’s just a victim of drug addiction, not a potentially treasonous worm gladly used by his father to enrich their family by peddling influence to communist China (among other alleged foreign agents, bodies, and countries).

Hunter’s sweetheart deal is absolute banana republic stuff, and this garbage about how’s he an innocent victim who sold God knows what to enemies of the United States because drug addiction is laughable. Or it would be if it weren’t so damaging to the very fabric of our society, to the very foundations of our government, and to the very stability of our Constitutional Republic.
As is, this new “narrative” makes me sick to my stomach. It is designed to build sympathy for someone who deserves none and to let off the hook a sitting president of the United States whose judgment is, according to The Narrative (TM), so addled and befuddled that he went along with bribing and extorting enemy foreign governments—providing who knows what in return—for his poor troubled kid (a grown man in his late 40s at the time) who just needed some cash for drugs and hookers. Normal kid stuff. Feel sorry for him!

The ‘loving father troubled, drug addicted son’ narrative is absolutely being trotted out. Not sure they can make it stick. Legacy media will do their part but new media is unlikely to play along. That’s one reason the establishment wants ‘disinformation boards’; to suppress, and censor any unorthodox or dissenting views. There are plenty of podcasts and news reaction/commentary platforms who not only have unorthodox views but have a higher eyeball count than much of corporate media.
I am unfamiliar with the version of the story where the helpless addict actually funds the loving parent. It’s usually the other way around, isn’t it?
Addiction is complicated? Nah they gonna stick to their script as long as they can whether it makes sense of not. New media is blowing holes in the narrative and word is out of how bad this is despite the effects of legacy media assistance to the WH.

That they would use such a tactic shows how sleazy and immoral they are. Shame on anyone that still falls for the fraud and supports this destructive man and his family.
Hunter identifies his dad as a parasite, promises not to do the same to his daughter. Makes Hunter, at least, far more sympathetic than Joe! Joe is the problem in this family, because he knows that the wealth of the rest of the family relies on him and his connections, and he lords it over them.
Beau was the go to dead son… war hero and all. Watch FJoeB fold in Beau and dead wife into the mix. “This on-going tragedy must stop..”
To be clear, and no offense meant to him, Beau wasn’t a war hero. At best he was a JAG who served in a HQ in Iraq. A Vet yes. A hero, no.
That’s just another cul-de-sac on the route to the unreality universe that Joe lives in and tries to drag us in to.
Joe is such a loving and devoted father. “10 for the Big Guy” means Joe will settle for Hunter returning only 10% of the love Joe gives.

Joe frequently discusses Hunter’s addiction as if it’s some malady which is cured, not ongoing. I believe he has said that Hunter has “recovered”, rather than “recovering”, as one typically describes those with substance addiction who are substance- free.
I’m sure Joe loves Hunter, but he and Jim exploited that addiction, perhaps unintentionally, possibly not. Hunter’s addiction in addition to his taste for a lavish lifestyle allowed the brothers to lure and involve Hunter in their corrupt enterprises. No matter how much money was coming in to him, Hunter never had enough. If Joe weren’t such an idiot he’d have realized that the all this money was fueling the addiction.
Hunter’s attorneys attempt to explain away the WhatsApp text by pointing to Hunter’s addiction. Hunter can’t be held accountable because he was high. After all, the Democrats love victimhood. Can you imagine an attorney trying to make that argument in court? “My client is a victim of alcoholism and was drunk, so he can’t be responsible for causing an accident that killed those people.”
One wonders: if Hunter developed an addiction to the fentanyl that “proud daddy” Biden so blithely lets flood across our border, would he care enough build a wall (or just enforce immigration law) to stop illegals?
You know the answer: move to a grandchild as a money laundering mule.
I’m still predicting that “poor Hunter” won’t live to see his 60th.

My column argues that existing addiction policies are grossly inadequate: We lose 250k Americans a year to drugs and alcohol combined.
I’m pretty sure that close to none of those 250k addicted Americans were related to a VP or POTUS, nor where they also making millions of dollars peddling access by foreign governments to their close relations.
If anything, Hunter’s addictions were a distraction and a liability for the Biden influence-peddling machine, and actually partially damaged and crippled the family’s ability to rake in the cash. If they had tried to rehabilitate Hunter, it would have been to improve his effectiveness and the family’s bottom line, and not for the benefit of Hunter personally.
