PayPal, Venmo, Google Purging Wrongthink: Daily Sceptic and Gays Against Groomers the Latest Targets

The Biden administration and its various supporters have made no secret of their intent to silence and purge political opposition, and this extends to ‘working with’ their Big Tech ‘partners’ to root out and punish anyone who fails to support Biden, the Democrat Party, or the radical left’s America Last agenda.

Here at LI, we’ve been covering the left’s destruction of free speech in this country. With the cheerful compliance of social media, banking, financial institutions, and credit card companies, Democrats are chipping away at all dissent, making pariahs and outcasts of them.

Indeed, it’s much more terrifying than even that because as Biden alerted the nation in his demonic authoritarian speech, any and all dissent—the very existence of political opposition—is a matter for the federal authorities.  Moms and dads at school board meetings? Domestic terrorists. People who support President Trump’s America First policies? Enemies of the state and threats to the very soul of our nation. People who object to sexualizing little children in schools? Dangerous semi-fascists.

The attack on wrongthink is ongoing, and the latest victims are the UK-based website Daily Sceptic and the America-based group Gays Against Groomers.

The Daily Sceptic reports:

The first I heard about this was on Thursday afternoon last week when I received a notification from my personal PayPal account informing me that it was being shut down because I’d violated the company’s ‘Acceptable Use Policy’. I looked at that policy and it covers things like fraud and money laundering so my first thought was it must be a mistake. Then, a few minutes later, I got another notification, this one from the Daily Sceptic’s PayPal account. That, too, had been shut down and for the same reason. Eh? That was odd. Then, another email, this one from the Free Speech Union’s PayPal account. Same story – the Acceptable Use Policy. Now call me a cynic, but the chances of all three accounts violating the same policy within minutes of one another struck me as a bit implausible. Was something else going on?. . . . PayPal just doesn’t like free speech, which is why it has shut down the FSU account at the same time. There are five issues in particular where it’s completely verboten to express sceptical views and if you do you can expect to be cancelled, not just by PayPal but by YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.: the wisdom of the lockdown policy and associated Covid restrictions, the efficacy and safety of the mRNA vaccines, Net Zero and the ‘climate emergency’, the need to teach five year-olds that sex is a social construct and the war in Ukraine. Dissent from the prevailing orthodoxy in any of those areas is no longer permitted. This is the new front in the ongoing war against free speech: the withdrawal of financial services from people and organisations that express dissenting opinions on those topics. And not just those who express them, but those who defend them, too, like the FSU. That‘s what makes this an escalation in the war on free speech. Until now, companies like PayPal, GoFundMe, Patreon and CrowdJustice have only demonetised individuals and groups whose views they disapprove of. Now, PayPal has closed the account of an organisation that defends people’s right to free speech, without taking sides on the issues they’re speaking about. Even that is no longer allowed, according to this Silicon Valley behemoth.

Gay people who oppose the sexualization of children in schools are also being targeted by Big Tech in this latest purge.  You may recall that plenty of gay, lesbian, and bi people are trying to extricate themselves from the trans nonsense; part of that protest includes standing against mutilating children, using puberty blockers, and generally proselytizing transgender ‘identity’ in the K-12 classroom.

It’s apparently incredibly important to the radical left that these practices continue, however, because they are coming for one of their favorite identity groups, the LBGTQ community.

The Daily Caller reports:

Google, Paypal and Venmo shut down accounts affiliated with Gays Against Groomers, a Twitter account that is critical of gender ideology, particularly in regard to children. Venmo shut down the account early Tuesday morning, and Paypal blocked the account from its services minutes later, according to an email shared by the account’s founder Jamie Michell; Google shut down her account, including her email address, the following morning, according to a screenshot and an email. Her Google account was reinstated Wednesday afternoon, according to Michell, who said the company may have been responding to blowback from the right over what looked like a coordinated banning. A Google spokesperson denied that the company coordinated with other companies in a statement to the DCNF and claimed the account had been temporarily suspended because of an automatic system that targets the bulk creation of accounts.

There are rumors of a separate financial services network being established for anyone suffering under this tyranny. If true, I hope they are taking note and doubling their efforts to get this rolled out quickly.
