Hunter Biden acknowledged that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware began an investigation into his “tax affairs.”
The tax investigation began in 2018.
Joe Biden said that he “is deeply proud of his son, who has fought through difficult challenges, including the vicious personal attacks recent months, only to emerge stronger.”

Investigators have been examining multiple financial issues, including whether Hunter Biden and his associates violated tax and money laundering laws in business dealings in foreign countries, principally China, according to two people briefed on the probe.Some of those transactions involved people who the FBI believe sparked counterintelligence concerns, a common issue when dealing with Chinese business, according to another source.
Hunter came under scrutiny before the election due to his foreign business dealings.
We already knew about Hunter sitting on the board of Ukrainian company Burisma as his father led efforts to help officials shed corruption after overthrowing its Russian-backed president.
But The New York Post dropped stories of Hunter pursuing “lasting and lucrative” deals with top Chinese energy company CEFC, which went bankrupt this year.
Hunter and his associates set up White House meetings for members of China’s Communist Party. He also got an email from a Ukrainian executing thanking him for setting up a meeting with Joe Biden.
Don’t forget that the laptop which had all of this information is part of a 2019 FBI money laundering probe.
Hunter’s associate Tony Bobulinski confirmed that the “big guy” in some of the emails referred to Joe Biden. Bobulinski also said that Joe did talk to Hunter about the latter’s business dealings despite making numerous denials.
