St. Louis Couple Who Defended Their Home Against Mob Will Speak at GOP Convention

St. Louis Couple Who Defended Their Home Against Mob Will Speak at GOP Convention

Other speakers include former UN ambassador Nikki Haley, Sen. Tim Scott, and Sen. Joni Ernst

Patricia and Mark McCloskey, the couple now famous for brandishing fire arms as a BLM mob tore through their neighborhood and the completely asinine legal battle they’ve faced, will speak at this year’s GOP convention.

The WaPo reports:

The St. Louis couple who became famous after wielding guns at protesters on their private street will be part of the largely digital Republican National Convention next week, Trump advisers said this week.

The couple — Patricia and Mark McCloskey — will appear on behalf of the president during the virtual weeklong event and express their support for him, the officials said.

A spokesman for the convention declined to comment on the appearance.

Other speakers are expected to include former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley, and Sens. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) and Joni Ernst (R-Iowa). The president is expected to speak from the White House, while Vice President Pence will speak from Fort McHenry in Maryland.

I hope they’ve gotten Leo Terrell to speak at the DNC.

He asked, more than once, wnat Biden has done for black people. So, no matter; Mr. Terrell views his through the prism of race.

Ty Kemberlee.

Sorry, Pink Shirt, criminal defense attorney against police representing a scumbag, Lamborghini club member, gated community member does not represent me.

I think there are a heck of a lot of better examples of 2nd Amendment examples that could be used including people that actually had to stop an act in self defense.

Yea, they are getting screwed by Soros driven agenda. I am guessing that he bought this spot.

It’s an illustration of the corrupt justice system, which Trump has yet to fix

I thought the 2nd Amendment covered everyone, but I guess it only works if you shop at Dollar Tree.

No one knows of Joe Smith doing this. These – regardledss of their repugnancy – were on page one above the fold. The public knows who they are.

Mark, I pretty much agree with your assessment. But, somehow that I think that makes them perfect. Of course they do not represent “us” but the fact that the 2nd amendment protects even these nit wit lawyers.. It is like that famous saying, I may disagree with what you say, but I would defend, with my last breath, your right to say it. We disagree with what they do, but we defend their right to bear arms.

It is damned decent of them to show some appreciation for what Trump did for them… or people who end up in a similar situation.

This could work, or it could blow up for the GOP. At the very least, their speech should be pre-approved before the event to avoid any obvious bombs.

So they invited a bunch of people who hate Trump?

The GOP, about as good with tactics as the stripey shirt woman is with safely handling her pistol.

They better be careful on what they say. I know they are accomplished attorneys, but they are dealing with a DA that has already tampered with evidence.

Some, Select Black Lives Matter is the reimagined incorporation of the Democrats’ KKK: bringing diversity, intimidation to people’s homes. Violence, too. #BabyLivesMatter

Somehow I think Trump need to turn this Convention around and have in person speeches

If they dont learn from the DNC’s ridiculousness, shame on them

Tim Scott is a rising star.

When it first happened speculation was they were Democrats, if so maybe a conservative is a liberal who was mugged.

I just heard CBS news report about this on the radio. 5 second blurb that said ‘the couple that brandished firearms at peaceful protesters in St. Louis will speak at the republican national convention’. SMH

AIUI at the time neither gun could have been fired. There was no ammunition in the rifle and none in the house. The handgun had been modified so that it would not shoot.

Brandishing the weapons was literally an empty threat.

Highest paid person at cnn is supposed to be speaking also….LOL. Nick Sandman.
