Sen. Feinstein Sends Secret Letter About Kavanaugh to FBI

Sen. Feinstein Sends Secret Letter About Kavanaugh to FBI

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has a private letter about Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, but refuses to share it.

She sent it to the FBI for investigation.

The FBI will not investigate.

*From earlier today…

Like I said, Feinsein refused to share the letter with fellow Democrats on the committee. The Intercept described how she came to possess it:

The letter took a circuitous route to Feinstein, the top-ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee. It purportedly describes an incident that was relayed to someone affiliated with Stanford University, who authored the letter and sent it to Rep. Anna Eshoo, a Democrat who represents the area.

Different sources provided different accounts of the contents of the letter, and some of the sources said they themselves had heard different versions, but the one consistent theme was that it describes an incident involving Kavanaugh and a woman while they were in high school. Kept hidden, the letter is beginning to take on a life of its own.

Eshoo passed the letter to her fellow Californian, Feinstein. Word began leaking out on the Hill about it, and Feinstein was approached by Democrats on the committee, but she rebuffed them, Democratic sources said. Feinstein’s fellow senators want their own opportunity to gauge whether or not the letter should be made public, rather than leaving it to Feinstein to make that call unilaterally. The sources were not authorized to speak on the record, and said that no senators on the committee, other than Feinstein, have so far been able to view the letter.

We all know by now that the Democrats have done all they can to delay Kavanaugh’s confirmation from the hysterics during the hearing, the laundry list of questions sent to him, and vicious attacks on Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME).

Now we have a letter seen by two people in Congress with no details about an alleged incident back when Kavanaugh attended high school. It opens the doors for speculation and doubt, especially since “the subject of the letter is now being represented by Debra Katz, a whistleblower attorney who works with #MeToo survivors.”

I scheduled this piece, hit Twitter, and look what I found. Just as I expected:

Gee, where have we heard this before?

It also reminds me of House of Cards when Underwood tells Zoe to circulate the news that the president wants to name Catherine Durant as Secretary of State. He planted the seed, which led to speculation and a media circus and bam. The president nominated Durant for the position. That happened after Underwood used Zoe and the media to destroy the president’s choice for the position.

The way the media works nowadays, it won’t matter what is in the letter:

The Senate Judiciary Committee will vote on Kavanaugh at 1:45PM ET on September 20, which means the vote will go to the Senate floor later next week.

So, in essence, there is no story at all.

The Real story is the Chinese had a copy of the Letter before the FBI!

JusticeDelivered in reply to floridaman. | September 13, 2018 at 4:15 pm

Feinstein cannot share the communication because doing so would expose her and her associate to libel-defamation claims.

    JoeyFalconi1 in reply to floridaman. | September 13, 2018 at 5:54 pm

McCathyism, pure and simple. Get used to it. These folks are full of hate. And it’s going to get worse.

Exactly! Especially since Kavanaugh went to an all boys Jesuit High School.

The story seems to be that some girl was locked in a room by Kavanaugh and another boy (the girl got out) and this girl told a friend about it, that friend told Congresswomen Eshoo, and Congresscritter Eshoo wrote the letter to Feinstein.

Some major criminality going on here! (sarcasm off)

Like McCain and his dossier, he just had to do his duty.

He kissed a girl, and she liked it.

n knowledgeable source who requested anonymity says …

No thanks.

I wish the (R) party had 1% of the fighting spirit (I don’t mean the same tactics, just the drive to win) as the (D) party.

“. . . has a private letter about Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, but refuses to share it”

But tells the world about the existence of the letter, though not its contents, thereby accomplishing her purpose of throwing more shade on Kavanaugh and spoiling his reputation even more.

And giving it to the FBI? No one in the FBI gets to cast a vote on Kavanaugh; only the 100 Senators. She tells the world at large that it’s been given to the FBI which implies, as she intended, that sinister stuff’s in that letter.

IF anything occurred in HS, it is a violation of state statute (if the statute hasn’t already run) and the Bureau has no duty to investigate. IF Fineswine believed this was a crime which needed investigation, she should have referred it to the appropriate state/local authorities.

I understand he didn’t share his toys in kindergarten, this is getting serious.

We’re not a banana republic.

We’re an 8th grade girls private school class.

Giving it to the FBI is the ultimate dead letter box. Since whatever supposedly had happened was A) not a federal crime and B) far beyond any statute of limitations, the salacious contents of the letter (and you can bet they’ll be as juicy as the highest-paid political fixers can have written) can then be leaked to any major or minor newspaper and will show up in print for millions to see.

(And then when the whole thing is discovered to be a fraud, they’ll apologize on page 97 right below the classified ads)

Lie to millions, apologize to dozens, claim political neutrality. That’s today’s media.

Typical slime tactics being used by the Democrats. If they couldn’t lie, cheat, commit fraud, they couldn’t win.

Amazing how conveniently these women suddenly come forward with allegations, then fade away to nothing after they accomplish the DNC goals of accusations and destruction of careers without due process, with only the word of the woman being believed.

It isn’t always hard to find someone willing to lie to benefit the National Socialist Party. They know it’s hard to prove, and yet it doesn’t matter, as it is the politics of personal destruction perfected by the Clinton Crime Family.

How can their followers be so duped by these scum, every single time?

I mentioned this earlier and now that I have ti me to think about it. The federal investigator she gave it to, could that be Peter Strzok?

Voice_of_Reason | September 13, 2018 at 3:32 pm

A letter from someone who didn’t want to come forward about something that happened in high school.

Well, that’s a big bag of nothing.

Rumor has it, someone has come forward with her yearbook with an inscription on how Kavanaugh always knew he’d get on the Supreme Court to kill millions of people. Also, he was a judge at the time and they were dating. Incredible if true!! Scandalous! Seriousness of these charges are so serious as to shake anyone’s support for this judge, and if fact, he never should have been elevated to the court he’s on! How the Democrats misses this stuff back when he was confirmed for the DC court is unexplained.

If this secret letter has been referred to the Federal Bureau of Leaks it will be on the front page of the WaPooPoo and NY Slimes tomorrow.

I look at that vile, lying old witch and the words “morally repugnant” spring to mind.

Has Paul Ryan denounced him yet?

High school. Seriously?

I am beginning to think the Hillary Campaign really did kill Seth Rich. They are that sleazy.

Hmm. I understand why she didn’t share it with most others but Grassley? The head of the committee?

I said when the Roy Moore smear was being bought by the MuhPrinciplez Cruise Ship Cucks here and elsewhere that this would happen more and more.

It was confirmed during Kavanaugh’s confirmation when Sen Hirono was revealed to have asked not only Kavanaugh but EVERY Trump nominee who appeared in front of her if they were ever aware of any #MeToo like activity. Ready made setup for more fake accusations.

But tell me again how principled we should be in the face of lying enemies who hate us.

Wonder how much DNC donor money was involved this time?

Let me see, when I was in high school I do not know how many times I was told by my date that her breasts were off limits after I “Accidentally” brushed them. I can’t remember the number of times necking in a drive-in movie and being told to “Stop it”. It never was anything evil but just young kids doing what they had been doing for centuries. If this is what they come up with I’d vote twice for Kavanaugh! Remember Romney and the high school haircut they gave a new boy? OMG! That was the end of the civilized world! I believe the writer above who said that the letter was more valuable to the Dims if they keep it hidden than if they reveal it.

She sent it to that pillar of unimpeachable probity, the FBI. Yes, now that Comey and McCabe and Page and Strzok are no longer there, gaming everything in sight and lying about the rest, the FBI is back to being a serious Law Enforcement Organization. No, really. Honest. We mean it this time.

She can’t be serious. Ergo, she’s not. This is just a standard D’rat shit-shoveling job, with no actual content. She knows it, we know it.

The odd thing is that Feinstein is doing it. Usually the D’rats leave the really ridiculous filth to some up-and-comer. So why Feinstein? She probably needs it to fight off a home-court challenge; something to show that sure, she’s an old bat who’s been taking up that seat since Noah’s Ark got its first paint job, but she can still shovel it like the new kids.

Strzok, Page, McCabe, Comey, Ohr no longer work over there so I wonder who she’s sending this to.

“the subject of the letter is now being represented by Debra Katz, a whistleblower attorney who works with #MeToo survivors.”

Is this how we’re referring to alleged rape victims now? Have we just eliminated the word “rape,” and now it’s called “#MeToo?”

Oh so now Kavanaugh is an unindicted conspirator or summat?

You can smell the desperation from here hahahahahahahha

Hmmm sounds like something Gloria Allred and her evil spawn would try to pull off.

So, now that everything else has failed, for the Democrats, they are going to use the old Roy Moore smear campaign. what is interesting about this is that Feinstein did not simply release the information in the letter. This may well indicate that the information is harmless, or that the source is not credible. Or, this could all be a clever ploy to make it impossible for Kavanaugh to respond to any potential salacious charges before the midterms. If the FBI follows their usual pattern of investigation, not the accelerated HRC whitewashes, it will probably be two years before they release anything about this letter.

    Elzorro in reply to Mac45. | September 13, 2018 at 6:07 pm

The leftist FBI will simply say…We can not comment on an ongoing ‘investigation’. They do it every time. If the GOP had any spine at all they would call in the senate and vote tonight.

Tom Servo in reply to Elzorro. | September 13, 2018 at 7:09 pm

At least today’s FBI gets a little credit – not even a day and they’ve already said they don’t want nothing to do with this nonsense.

    mtngirl in reply to Mac45. | September 13, 2018 at 8:18 pm

Especially considering she sat on this letter for 6-8 weeks. Another sign it was a nothingburger or it would have been released earlier.

Mitch needs to slather it with sand and ram it home. Screw this nonsense.

4th armored div | September 13, 2018 at 5:03 pm

just imagine at the reception – after confirmation – of Justice K & T at a sidebar –
😉 😎

I am going to go on the record to project Dianne Feinstein will now lose re-election. The cross-over vote of Republicans to her is no more, as this stunt has now angered GOP voters. They will simply not vote or vote for de Leon….after all, if she is going to act like an ultra-progressive, why not vote for the real thing, but with reduced seniority.

Senator Dianne Feinstein found a federal judge in Hawaii who ruled the Sixth Amendment unconstitutional.

* SIGH * … the whole lot of them are morally bankrupt

Escaped from RI | September 13, 2018 at 5:50 pm

I have a letter from somebody who wishes to remain anonymous that could possibly implicate Diane Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton in the Lindbergh kid napping, the JFK assassination, and the 9-11 attacks. Or it may be a menu from the Chinese take out place down the street. I’m forwarding it to the FBI and alerting the press so no rumors get started.

What a transparently shabby attempt to delay the vote. High School? Did he pull her pig-tails? Or did he take a dump in her lunch box?

regulus arcturus | September 13, 2018 at 6:11 pm

I have information that Sen. Feinstein is the ringleader of a Chinese child sex trafficking smuggling ring.

China’s pet Senator.

Why is Finesswine still at large?

Senate Dems using pos Feinstein as House Dems use pos Lewis.

Funny that she thinks the FBI is still a credible authority. Like we would believe anything they said on the matter.

OMFG Sorry G, but this is just ridiculous.

The story now is that BK was 18 drove an girl a few months younger then he is and not yet 18 out of state to have sex which she agreed to.

Don’t know how true this is. This is the latest rumor. If true please reveal the letter.

PS: Feinstein had this letter in July. Why are we hearing about it now?

None other than Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is critical of the way Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation process has taken place. At a talk given at George Washington University Law School on Wednesday, it is reported she commented on “the day when Supreme Court nominees enjoyed bipartisan support in the Senate.”

Also, she said, “The way it was was right. The way it is is wrong,” Ginsburg said. “I wish I could wave a magic wand and have it go back the way it was.” She added, “Think of Justice Scalia, who’s certainly a known character,” she continued, adding that he was confirmed unanimously. “That’s the way it should be…instead of what it’s become, which is a highly-partisan show.” ***

Give credit where credit is due. She’s right on the money regarding this one!

What is interesting is she claims both parties do it now, yet when the vote counts are considered it appears more prevalent on the Democrats than the Republicans. But hey, she’s a decade and a bit older than I so I know she suffers from CRS.

This is bogus in so many ways. Kavanaugh went to a boys school, so his social opportunities were limited. The girl will be tracked down.

She has to know this. So does she want to be tracked down.

alaskabob in reply to Petrushka. | September 13, 2018 at 10:12 pm

Now, years later, she considers it “rape rape”…. or a friend she confided in about the tryst is part of the woke generation of feminists.

Investigate Feinstein and the letter. It’s a dirty political ploy by desperate Democrats and it needs to be stopped. It also makes any legitimate claim of misconduct look suspicious. While they’re investigating I think they should also look into the shush fund that Congress has been protecting themselves with. Release all the names of the politicians that used it and the amounts, no matter party affiliation.

“I have naked pictures of Feinstein in an embrace with…..HER MOTHER!!!!” OH, THE HORRORS.

Democrats needed to destroy Pres. Trump as soon as they could because they knew that he would fix the ills of the economy and business, in general. Fortunately, he is surviving their lies and is fixing Obama’s actions to “completely change America”.

Our economy is now booming and unemployment at the lowest levels in history. The result of Trump’s actions.

The Main Stream Media and the Democrats must conceal this information from their base. They know their base is uninformed. That’s how they control them.

At this point I’m even questioning whether the “live” caption to the upper left is correct.
