TWO pictures of Pelosi? That was a little tough right so early in the morning.
Listen to her criticisms: It is clear that immigration to her IS an invasion where the new arrivals change the culture rather than be assimilated into the culture.
I do not think you all have as good a grasp on negotiations as The Donald. His offer was more generous than expected, but the Dems are having none of that. He will win.
The Democrats have even lost Reuben Navarette on the immigration issue.

The distinction Naarette makes between DACA recipients and Dreamers is significant.
I am of the option that the path to citizenship should never go through an illegal act. That said, I value compromise, and could reluctantly accept DACA recipients, and even more reluctantly accept DJT’s offer to include a whole bunch of other people.
That acceptance would be conditioned on securing our borders, enforcing our immigration laws, and ending both chain migration and lottery migration. To the extent not covered by the end of chain migration, I would also end birth tourism and the entire concept of anchor babies. These last two are aberrations that may be unique to the US, due to inaction by Congress.
However, the immediate, vitriolic response that the generous proposal by DJT is racist and the insistence that chain migration continue endlessly tells me that the Democrats never had any intention to reach any kind of agreement.
The next offer should include 1) legal status, but NOT a path to citizenship for DACA recipients, and deportation for illegal aliens charged with additional crimes.
