The Eight Worst Anti-Trump “Hate Crime” Hoaxes

As if faith in establishment media wasn’t depleted enough, there seems no end to stories recently exposed as hoaxes. In fact, just about every story where someone was supposedly the victim of pro-Trump hate has turned out to be nothing more than wish casting.

We’re keeping track of this particular strain of media malpractice. Not surprisingly, most of the hoaxes took place on college campuses. This is what we have so far:

1. Muslim student’s claim that Trump supporters attacked her was HOAX

A Muslim woman who attends Baruch College recently claimed that three drunken men attacked her on the subway and pulled at her headscarf while yelling “Trump.”

She was arrested after admitting she made the whole thing up.

NBC News reported:

Hateful ‘Trump’ Notes Allegedly Aimed at Student Were Fabricated, University SaysHateful notes and emails allegedly sent to a North Park University student were “fabricated,” the school’s president said Tuesday in a statement, and the woman who claimed they were aimed toward her is no longer enrolled at the school.

3. Woman Blames Imaginary Trump Supporter for Violence in Muslim Hate Crime Hoax

A woman at the University of Louisiana Lafayette concocted a nasty little tale about an imaginary Trump supporter who yelled racial slurs at her, beat her, and stole her wallet and hijab. The story of course, was a hoax.

4. Black Man Arrested in ‘Vote Trump’ Arson of Black Church in Mississippi

An arrest has been made, reports the AP:

Mississippi authorities arrested a man Wednesday in the burning of an African-American church that was also spray-painted with the words, “Vote Trump.”Andrew McClinton of Leland, Mississippi, was charged with first degree arson of a place of worship, said Warren Strain, spokesman for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety. McClinton is African-American.McClinton was arrested in Greenville, where Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church was burned and vandalized Nov. 1, a week before the presidential election.

5. Fake hate crime: Student admits to Nazi graffiti after Trump supporters got blamed

From Red Alert Politics:

Jasskirat Saini, a 20-year old student from Nassau Community College, has been arraigned on 12 counts of aggravated harassment for drawing more than 100 swastikas, KKK symbols, and the words “Heil Hitler” on campus since early October. However, events escalated since Donald Trump was elected president, reported News 12 Long Island.Police stated that he used a black permanent marker to draw the anti-Semitic symbols in a school with a large Jewish population. Many people assumed that a Trump supporter was behind the series of hate crimes.“I think we have to connect the dots here. There are dangerous winds of hate, which are blowing across America. Whether it’s under the guise of alt-right or nationalism or Brexit, or whatever you call it, things are happening that are inciting the passions of those people in this country,” said Robert Solomon, chairman of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Long Island to The Long Island Press on December 9.As has been the case time and again, the incidents of hate were either entirely hoaxed or committed by liberals. While it’s unclear whether or not if Saini voted for Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders, he clearly is not a white supremacist Trump supporter.

6. Note reading ‘Bye Bye Latinos Hasta La Vista’ found at Elon University Blamed on Imaginary Trump Supporters

From Elon News Network:

In a reversal of prior statements, Elon University sent out an email to students, faculty and staff Friday night with information about the student who wrote the note “Bye Bye Latinos Hasta La Vista.”Though the university declined to explicitly identify the person by name, it said a Latino student wrote the note as a joke.”The message was written by a Latino student who was upset about the results of the election and wrote the message as a satirical commentary,” said Smith Jackson, vice president for Student Life.Multiple sources confirmed on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning the person who wrote the note was of Latino heritage and did so as a joke. ENN looked to confirm the information with a university official, but representatives either refused to provide the information or said they did not know the student’s identity….A significant portion of people who saw the note on social media linked the message to President-elect Donald Trump and viewed it as an attack on the Latino community.

7. Babson Students Cleared Over Pro-Trump Drive Through Wellesley Campus

Just days after the election, two students from Babson College drove a pick-up truck through the campus of nearby Wellesley College flying a Donald Trump flag. Wellesley students made accusations against the young men ranging from spitting to yelling discriminatory slurs.

The two were expelled from their fraternity and faced multiple charges, but now it’s all over.

The Boston Globe reported:

Pro-Trump Babson students cleared in Wellesley incidentBabson College has cleared two students of any disciplinary violations stemming from their controversial drive through Wellesley College to celebrate Donald Trump’s victory the day after the presidential election, their lawyers said Monday.

8. Villanova ends investigation of alleged post-election hate crime, keeps mum on details

From The College Fix:

Well, well, well. Villanova has ceased its probe into the allegations of a black female student who claimed she was knocked over by several white men who were shouting “Trump! Trump! Trump!” on November 10.The, er, odd thing is that the school won’t say anything about the matter.Philly.com reports school spokesman Jonathan Gust “declined to say why the student did not want to cooperate or whether the university knows the identities of the males allegedly involved in the incident.”Why?Local police closed the matter after the student said she no longer wished to pursue it, but Villanova had indicated it would continue looking into it.

We’ll keep updating this list as hoaxes continue manifest.
