I expect that Mike Pence will give a better than expected speech tonight. Eric Trump will have the pressure on to try and keep up with Don Jr.’s great speech yesterday. Is Ivanka speaking tonight or tomorrow? I’m that she will be excellent when she does speak.

The real question for tonight. The most interesting question is JUST HOW BIG OF A WHINY LITTLE BITCH will Ted Cruz make of himself.

I have zero expectation that he will be a man. I have zero expectation that he will put country and constitution ahead of his selfish personal ambition.

So the only question will be just how big of a selfish little bitch is Ted Cruz? We will soon know.

    Ragspierre in reply to KirbySalad55. | July 20, 2016 at 7:47 pm

We know right now how big a whiny little, trolling bitch you are.

    YUUUUUUUUUGH…!!!

      KirbySalad55 in reply to Ragspierre. | July 20, 2016 at 7:59 pm

As if right on cue, Rabidspierre appears to set the bar. So where will Cruz come down?

We already know that Ragsy will never put country and constitution ahead of his personal ego. Will his hero the natural born Canadian come in over or under Ragsy for personal ambition/ego versus country and constitution?

      We shall see.

        Ragspierre in reply to KirbySalad55. | July 20, 2016 at 8:26 pm

Unlike Gary Britt or Donelle T=rump, I served voluntarily in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.

        Whiny bitch.

I’ve always put my country and the Constitution above myself.

JYLD in reply to Ragspierre. | July 20, 2016 at 9:12 pm

Being drafted doesn’t count. I forget did Cruz serve in the Canadian military? I know he never served in our military.

Your posts and positions here clearly reveal you no longer value country and constitution over your personal ego.

amwick in reply to Ragspierre. | July 20, 2016 at 9:22 pm

Gary Britt was banned, I don’t know why his name keeps coming up. He cannot comment or defend himself.

Ragspierre in reply to Ragspierre. | July 20, 2016 at 9:26 pm

          “Being drafted doesn’t count.”

Well, first, you can’t read, you moron.

Second, yeah, serving after being drafted DOES count. See the wall in DC, chickenshit.

Third, DODGING the draft like Donelle and Dollar Bill Clinton did counts as a YUUUUUUUUGE negative for most conservatives. Especially when you have a puke like T-rump compare dodging VD to military service.

Forth, how many of the T-rump kids have served?

          You dickless, lying SOS…

          Thank you for your service.

    amwick in reply to KirbySalad55. | July 20, 2016 at 8:03 pm

I wonder if G_d spoke to Heidi Cruz and told her what Rafael should say. It happened before…

      KirbySalad55 in reply to amwick. | July 20, 2016 at 8:10 pm

The mormon’s white horse prophet from Canada has his own direct line to what g_d wants. Too bad for him g-d wanted Donald J. Trump !!

Ragspierre in reply to amwick. | July 20, 2016 at 8:15 pm

Well, we know for certain that god and the Man From WrestleMania have never had any dealings.

Der Donald has never sued god, or called him names.

Hey, the band is good.. RNC is dancing…!!!

Lets see how today works. Only news today so far is that Trump adviser is being investigated by secret service, and that Trump doesn’t want to do the job of president.

Bring on the train wreck!

Anchovy in reply to fwiffo. | July 20, 2016 at 8:26 pm

Isn’t it amazing how our classically trained professional journalists with the highest ethical standards are waking up after 9 years of sitting at a desk and doing nothing but a cut and paste from Vox or really getting into it and reading press releases from the DNC.

Black preacher and friend of Mr. Trump gave a real sermon for Trump. Scott Walker showing Cruz et al how to be a man. Two best lines. “A vote for anyone but Donald Trump is a vote for Hillary Clinton” “If Hillary were anymore on the inside she would be in prison.”

Scott Walker says you must vote Trump or you are voting Hillary.

Walker sets the bar to show Cruz this is how you be a man and keep your word.

Ragspierre in reply to JYLD. | July 20, 2016 at 9:31 pm

More apparent trolling by a T-rump cultist.

What is it about you slavish pricks that is so offended by people voting their conscience?

Barry in reply to Ragspierre. | July 20, 2016 at 10:27 pm

I’m not opposed to you voting your conscience.

Ted Cruz is fooling you however. He wants you to vote for Hillary, that he might ride in on the white horse to save you.

It’s clear why he is hated by the party – he’s only about himself.

Ragspierre in reply to Barry. | July 20, 2016 at 10:36 pm

Now, see that’s ESPECIALLY funny in light of a quip he made the other day…

“You’ll never see my name painted on the side of a plane…”

Watching guys like Walker and several other the past few days, Trump has put some backbone in some of these people whohad lost their backbone dealing with the GOPe.

At a major party convention, political talent on up-and-up calls on his fellow party members to vote for the nominee because he’s not his oponent. I say he has presidency in his sight in 2020.

I was not talking about Cruz. He hadn’t even started ( or Rubio ) when I started posting. I was talking about about all the the others before I’m talking about a lot of speakers who like Walker who seemed to be wimping out before Trump now being reenergized.

Of course! It’s Walker, the team player v. Cruz, the principled one.

Barry in reply to RodFC. | July 20, 2016 at 11:22 pm

I thought it was Walkers best speech ever. if he had done that during the process he might have been in to the end. During the primary season he just seemed to lack spark, which I said at the time. To get elected you must have some personality showing. he certainly did tonight and established himself as one of the leaders in the party, IMO.

If Ted thought he was giving a Reagan 1976 speech, he should have followed Reagan and actually endorsed the guy. Or even endorse Trump and ask Trump to follow the Ted Cruz platform, basically hijacking the messaging.

Now, without endorsing, he’ll be a scapegoat if Trump manages to lose.

Barry in reply to rotten. | July 20, 2016 at 10:29 pm

He’s misread history, like he misread everything else.

Ragspierre in reply to Barry. | July 20, 2016 at 10:33 pm

Oddly, he seems to have at least read, understood, and reveres the Constitution.

Unlike the “Constitutionist” Der Donald, who approves all twelve articles…

How dies reverence for the constitution and country square with helping Hillary Clinton appointing 5 supreme court justices.

He would rather sell out the country than sacrifice his own personal ambition. No wonder Rags likes him so much they both have this selfish narcissism in common.

Barry in reply to Ragspierre. | July 20, 2016 at 11:26 pm

I’ll grant you that Cruz knows the constitution better than Trump.

Cruz comes across as a self absorbed phony, and that cost him. He showed it again tonight, IMO.

You’ll have to work real damn hard to keep him from losing the next election in Texas.

Trump is no Ford, but I think we are witnessing the 2020 presidential field taking shape.

Cruz gave a speech about himself, “covered” by the constitution.

It was a sad spectacle to see a man booed off the stage by the party. He buried himself tonight.

JYLD in reply to Barry. | July 20, 2016 at 10:43 pm

Yep. A whiny little bitch smirking at the crowd as they booed him off the stage.

I can’t abide such a selfish narcissist and whiny smirky bitch. I can’t excuse his lack character even if he was partially raised by a friend of Lee Harvey Oswald.

Ragspierre in reply to JYLD. | July 20, 2016 at 10:51 pm

Your only function here appears to be another T-rump sucking troll.

amwick in reply to JYLD. | July 20, 2016 at 11:04 pm

Fox reported that Security had to escort Heidi out, something about the crowd shouting “Goldman Sachs” at her.

Ragspierre in reply to amwick. | July 20, 2016 at 11:26 pm

I can readily see that, as the T-rump cultists are going to get really ugly now.

They will broach no heresy against their little yellow god, and that will show itself in both frothing-at-the-mouth defense and attack.

What we saw with Obama supporters may pale in comparison.

Barry in reply to Ragspierre. | July 20, 2016 at 11:44 pm

Those “T-rump cultists” are the rank and file of the republican party, as I’m sure you know.

They booed Cruz off the stage for showing his low class; not upholding his unconditional pledge to support the nominee.

          He deserved it.

Ragspierre in reply to Ragspierre. | July 21, 2016 at 12:38 am

No. There were T-rump cultists there who acted completely out of all decorum.

Just as I said. You’ll see them more soon.

Barry in reply to Ragspierre. | July 21, 2016 at 1:16 am

“who acted completely out of all decorum.”

LOL, what do you call a speech given at the republican convention, after the votes have been tallied and the nomination is official, that is not in support of the nominee?

That would be the definition of acting completely out of decorum.

Two hundred and twenty eight years as a constitutional republic, and some morons still haven’t figured out how the bloody thing works.

No, Precious Snowflakes, the election is not about “voting your conscience.”

It is about keeping the disgusting Democrats out of the White House.

That. Is. All. (All that makes an actual, real-world difference, anyway.)

Everything else is posturing, or moralizing. Moralizing has its place … but this isn’t it. This is war, and the Dems are fighting it.

Too bad so many Repubs aren’t.

So of course, you want to be reading opinions written by Supreme Court Justice William Jefferson Clinton.

I’ll remind you each time he writes one.

Ragspierre in reply to RodFC. | July 20, 2016 at 11:49 pm

Yeah, Rod, you just wallow in that lil’ fantasy.

        Jeebus…

Besides, Barry is predicting T-rump in a landslide…!!!

“Besides, Barry is predicting T-rump in a landslide…!!!”

Be sure and write that down.

I haven’t missed in this election contest yet.

It’s an easy year for predictions.

buckeyeminuteman | July 20, 2016 at 10:44 pm

If somebody starting spreading rumors about my dad being in cahoots with Lee Harvard Oswald, I wouldn’t endorse him on national TV either. And neither would anybody reading this. I will be voting my conscience in November. And there is no way my conscience would ever vote for Hillary Clinton. Outside of her, any candidate running has to earn my vote. Think for yourself, there’s nothing more American than that.

Also that business with an unflattering picture of his wife and crazed crowds chanting “Lyin Ted”.
As my friend Linda pointed out, Trump didn’t have to invite Cruz. But the alleged Alfa invited him. What did he expect?

Cruz started it by peddl8ng nudie pics of Trump’s wife. Mess with the bull and you get the horns.

        1. Cruz did not, a super pack did. Cruz, unlike Trump, does not talk with his super packs.
        2. The picture in question was something that Trump himself put out there. If he thought it was a good idea to put a photograph of his girlfriend as a wealthy whore on the cover of a magazine, he should be OK with some people pointing out that his now wife is a whore.
For the record, I’m not against a tasteful nude.

“Cruz, unlike Trump, does not talk with his super packs.”

Since you’re a kook, you may believe that. But no, the connections are all there between the super pack and ted Cruz.

He knew it. Approved it. I could care less. Turn about is fair play. politics is a rough dirty “sport”. If you can’t take the heat, don’t play.

Ragspierre in reply to edgeofthesandbox. | July 20, 2016 at 11:42 pm

Here you fall off into your practice of stating bullshit didactically that you don’t know and can’t know.

          It’s just your opinion.

Yes, it is my opinion that he communicated with the pack, and knew about the pictures that were going to be shown to the Mormons in an attempt to smear trumps wife.

Is it your opinion he did not know?

That they were connected is fact.

          Rags,
          What, precisely, is bs?
The image came from Liz Mair. I highly doubt that she discussed it with Cruz. I highly doubt he needed her help in Utah.
The image source is GQ magazine. The idea the image was trying to convey is that Melania is a top shelf call girl, pretty obvious if you look at it. Why would GQ put it on the cover in the first place?Because she’s Trump’s gf and it goes with Trump’s image. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Don himself lobbied for the cover story.
The only thing I find surprising is that the Don didn’t laugh it off, like yes, my wife is hot. He was in his late middle age when the issue was released and should had been comfortable with who he is.

Ragspierre in reply to edgeofthesandbox. | July 21, 2016 at 12:33 am

          Edge, I was addressing Barry.

“The image came from Liz Mair.”

For you political “sophisticates”, there is an old saying “Follow the money”, and “watch what they do, not what they say”.

          Q. Where did a one woman pack get the money to run the adds?

          A. from the Forina pack, then aligned with the cruz pack, and the Fiorina pack got the money from the cruz pack. It’s right there in the filed documents. Go look.

Y’all will buy anything if the seller holds a bible in his hand.

Mike Pence is giving an excellent vice presidential speech. I like him more and more. An excellent pick by Trump I think.

I have to wonder if Trump didn’t have a hand in “Lock her up” .
