Now a new website, Progressives Today, has exposed just how bad it is.
The White Privilege conference in Madison, WI, was videotaped and will be rolled out (including on the Kelly File tonight):
These people are not like the civil rights activists of the 1950s and 60s. In those days activists criticized America because the benefits of democracy, personal liberty and free enterprise did not extend to minorities, particularly black Americans. They fought for inclusion into the great American system, so that all citizens could have a shot at the American dream.
But today’s White Privilege crowd – largely elitist college professors and K-12 teachers – reject the idea of making the American system work for everyone.
Their goal is to trash the system altogether, specifically targeting free enterprise, individualism, Christianity and free speech. Their goal is to remake America with some form of collectivist economy, and presumably some form of totalitarian government that could impose and maintain such a system.
They’re pursuing that goal by enlisting thousands of teachers from across the nation to push their ideas on naïve K-12 students.
This is the same progressive push of which Microaggression Mania and Check Your Privilege speech control is a part.
It is the complete racialization of education.

One of the terrible lessons we learned in the 70s was the one about implanting “memories” in children. This was brought out by the miserable “day-care abuse cases”, where it was finally shown that little children had “memories” implanted by careless or outright evil “professionals” investigating allegations of sexual abuse.
In fact, those events never occurred. However, those kids were as much victims of sexual abuse as if they had, in reality, happened. They have the memories…though they are false.
When I look and listen to someone like Tourre, who has had a life with opportunities I never had and could not provide my own children, I have to wonder who victimized him. Because someone did, but not in reality. They implanted in him things he’s never known in reality, and made him a victim.
Just as these devils incarnate are plotting to do.
Like I believe anything these lieing a-hole Progressives say. Geesh.
Some 20 or 30 years ago I had the TV on while I was busy doing something.
It was the local news and they were doing a segment on a “white privilege” program that took a bunch of high school kids to a camp in the mountains here in Southern California.
There, instead of hiking and fishing, they subjected the kids to lessons on “white privilege.”
Like I said, I was busy doing something so I was just kind of glancing at it and rolling my eyes, muttering, “Oh, brother” to myself.
The only part I remember clearly was the end.
At the end, there was a Hispanic girl crying hysterically. I mean she was absolutely hysterical and inconsolable.
She sobbed into the microphone (as best as I can remember):
“Now I know I’ll never be anything! I have no future!! I’m not white, so I’ll never be successful!!”
They are ruining these kids. It’s pure poison. Pure child abuse.
This isn’t meant to be real.
It’s the ultimate “have white people stopped beating their wives yet?” question. A meaningless yet unanswerable attack which can be invoked in perpetuity.
Progressives are the Palestinians of American politics. Whatever their opponents do, they intend to harasses them with rocket bombardment forever.
The pay is good.

The thing that I find most fascinating about this craziness is this. It is white people telling white people that they are racist. At the 1:24 mark in this video there is a pan of the crowd at the white privilege conference and I don’t see one person of any other color than white.

Someone suggested that there is a socio-industrial complex, which eclipses all others in both political, economical, and social leverage. I believe that they are right.
That said, I am individual, privileged, and reject all forms of psychoactive manipulations, including: chemical, emotional, litigious, journalistic, and nonsensical.

Where do all these people get the funding from to attend these conferences? Do they pay out of their own pocket?
Good question. And, why would anyone want to go in the first place.
According to the Kelly interview, taxpayer dollars fund the conference and the travel. No doubt it meets some professional development requirements.
I don’t want any of those attendees to be teaching any children.

This whole phenomenon needs to be divided into two:
1) Economy-class white guy privilege.
2) First-Class, Deluxe, white Jew privilege.

Every dog and the one cat I’ve owned – loved, fed, played with, washed, groomed, soft fluffy bedding, any toy they desired, voice lessons, music lessons, acting lessons, one even earned a BA in Animal Companion Studies. I am in the Army. Recently my Commander asked/told me I was going to go to a course: “E.O.” which means “Equal Opportunity”. It’s an Army program that is SUPPOSED to be about eliminating bigotry and allowing people to advance based on merit.
So – I go to a class, that has people from around the country, in Louisiana, and it’s a week long course. Within ***45 MINUTES*** of the first day, we are told that the model/political thought they use is that all racism and sexism in the Army stems from “White Male Privilege”.
I have contemplated, discussed, and debated these issues for years and so I was ready. By day 3 the instructor was trying not to call on me, as I kept demolishing his arguments. By day 5 he would NOT call on me because I had repeatedly shown that his models were slanted, his examples were only applicable if you were willing to ignore wrongs done by all other people not white & male, and that his views came from “critical theory” which came from the Hamburg School – a school of thought based in Germany in the 30’s started by a bunch of communists.
Still, it was a frustrating class that was designed to indoctrinate. I swear they took the model of the Soviet Army and had made a Zampolit (a political officer) who was there to fill our heads not with fairness and equality of opportunity, but with racism and sexism against anyone white and male.

I’m pretty sure you mean Frankfurt School, not Hamburg School. You’re right in substance though. “Critical theory” is an outgrowth of the hideous Frankfurt School ideology that now dominates college campuses. Because it has its roots in Marxism, it explains why something like 90% of “social scientists” with PhDs are really just highly paid left wing political activists.

This title is found on a chapter heading in Theodore Dalrymple’s book Spoilt Rotten: The Toxic Cult of Sentimentality.
The cultists come together (annually it appears) to their emotionally charged ‘religious high place’ where they assent to a “willing casualty” and to being “supremely vulnerable” in order to obtain perverse, as I see them, “virtues of a high order”, to become “a person of superior sensibility and compassion”.
Outside this milieu the collectivist’s existential angst is splattered across our culture as are Jackson Pollack’s canvases splattered with dripping paint: “white privilege” or “climate change” or “check your privilege” or the hubris del dia.
These statements are nothing more than the “If I Had a Hammer” mantra of closely-held ‘values’ used to browbeat each of us into a submission of our will to the… anti-christ. Remember, Judeo-Christian values lead to freedom, the demands of the anti-christ lead to the bondage of self-worship.
These Progressive propagandists will tell you that if you are born white then your DNA must contain a genetic code for racism, just as if you are born German your DNA must contain strains of Nazism. The black man is beyond reproach because…he suffered (and not unlike millions of others who have suffered throughout history, black and white).
There is no attempt by Progressives to see beyond kultursmog into reality, into the eyes of the ‘other.’ Rather the focus (just as it is for BDS) is on exclusion for the sake of a twisted and synthesized-with-evil ‘human rights’ superiority.

And the stress of timing the quarter-revolutions so that it’s an even brown all the way around is not to be dismissed lightly. There’s also an app to check your privilege. It rates and shows your privilege, lets you share your rating on FB and Twitter, and even lets you “schedule notifications to remind you to check your privilege”. I’m confident the White Privilege Conference organizers would endorse its diligent use.

When Luke was a kid, dermatologists said getting a tan was healthy for the skin (I guess the science was settled).
At the beginning of summer, Luke would be at the beach all day long and there was no use of sun block. That was for 98-pound weaklings getting sand kicked in their faces by the beach bully.
Luke’s nose would get burned (1st degree burn) and he’d go back the next day and get fried again. His nose would then have blisters forming on it (2nd degree burn).
Luke would just rip the blisters right off.
He was doing his own dermabrasion decades before fancy Beverly Hills clinics started doing it.

Looking back at the Salon.com Terrorism and white males rant, it makes me notice what the left resorts to when it can’t rant about conservatives (because most of these domestic terrorists have records of liberal ideals that turn up as evidence). The propaganda machine retreats and offers some of their own as sacrifical lambs to halt the momentum.
You noted in a newer article that Salon.com is predominately white and male. They choose to attack with the “white privilege” banner (hoisted by white liberals) as a means of demonizing all whites of all political persuasions. They do this believing that more of their side will be left standing because of their “How may I help you?” customer service style recruitment of special interest groups.

Anyone who does not discern the not so nuanced difference between bias and prejudice is mentally defective. Anyone who does not recognize their own individual dignity is psychologically defective. True story:
My stepdaughter is a fifth-grader in the Atlanta Public School system. Recently her teacher showed the class a photo of a white woman holding a toddler, both smiling for the camera and wearing ful KKK regalia. The history lesson that day had apparently been that all white people are racists and should never be trusted. When I quizzed my stepdaughter about the photo, she knew nothing about where or when it had been taken, or even where it was from – I asked her if it was part of a history textbook she said she didn’t know…she also knew nothing about the history of the KKK in the United States.
It was disappointing to say the least. History is really important, and learning to parrot slogans about eeevil white people rather than learning about historical processes is useless.
She’s going to private school next year, and even though I am a lefty product of public schools myself, I am so relieved. This isn’t school, it’s sloganeering at the expense of actually having to teach things.
(Oh, and the fact that they have all the fourth- and fifth- graders at this school packed into trailers with 32 kids in each classroom is unacceptable. Atlanta Public Schools allocates $13K per student, so that’s $416,000 in revenue per trailer per year).
