“This is called Obama being Obama”

“This is called Obama being Obama”

Some of my renowned “quick, newsy bits and links” of which I am so proud:

GINGRICH: “Having become deeply involved in GM’s operation, the federal government has a vested interest in the company’s success. So what is stopping it from requiring all Americans — under threat of penalty — to buy a GM car?” — In his book “A Nation Like No Other,” published last summer.

THE FACTS: This is called Newt being Newt.

Newt being Newt is a fact check?  How about every time Obama talks about creating or saving millions of jobs, how the economy is coming back, how Republicans want to do away with Social Security and Medicare, how the rich don’t pay their fair share, how “some say” there is no role for government … How about when Obama and his administration pull stuff out of thin air,  AP FACT CHECK says:

“This is called Obama being Obama”?

Here’s the link. Thanks for your post. It is a good article.
“So forgive me if we don’t get all goo goo-eyed over a gaffe prone moralist who somehow chooses the worst economic and government corruption period our country to pick “social” fights that we are in no place to win. Nor does he have ANY track record of recruiting and managing other conservatives to nationwide office. Nor does he have any experience in executive office outside of sitting on boards of charities that didn’t disperse money as they said or healthcare companies embroiled in Medicare fraud. Was Rick responsible for these things? I doubt it. I think he’s well intentioned. But this is an election to great to risk an political or managerial incompetent.”– This is my favorite paragraph. That’s exactly how I feel everytime I see a new Santorum headline.

I don’t know why they would have taken the case and scheduled it on a fast track with extraordinary oral argument time if they were going to put it off.

Can anyone explain to me what this means: “Rich Lowry, editor of National Review, is upset that the media has unleashed the hounds. Oh, sorry, wrong link, here.”

I’ve stopped going to NRO out of principle, so if someone could relay the gist of this to me, I would appreciate it. =)

Newt being Newt…

Hmmm… Sounds mighty tasty to me…!!!

“Legal Insurrection is the greatest blog I’ve ever seen. It is full of insightful commentary on the human condition, with a wit-tinged subtext calling out for hope in a world of change, bringing joy to many all in HIS spare time.”

Big Hollywood: “The Undefeated” to Debut on Reelzchannel in March (March 11th, 8pm EST).

Oh how I have suffered for this blog. Psychiatric deviations. Loss of any semblance of spare time. Marital stress:

She said: Are you on the blog again?
He said: No.
She said: Liar.
He said: I just got on.

Believe it or not, there was a strategy here. Neither an aggregator nor a pure-pundit be. No, I would weave the two together like no person before me; a little link, a little wit, and a lot of astute observations on the human condition drawn, in part, from my studies of (Soviet) history and law. Brilliant, they would say, brilliant. Applouse, Applouse.

Professor — sorry, linking to your post, your link to your post, me linking to your post — can’t help it — this is hilarious. —in case someone didn’t happen to go to the link, which I almost missed. Thank God, at least you’re no longer underrated. So you’ve got that going for you. Which is nice.

Once again…who I 100% support. I will vote for anyone else, but hope I don’t have to:

I love the “sloping forehead” statement from David Carr. He was born in Hopkins, Minnesota where all of those slope-headed morons come from. Look in the mirror, David.

David, you were a shitty writer for the Twin Cities Reader back in the ’80’s and you are still the same hack that you were back then.

Elitists like David Carr wouldn’t even hang out with a guy named Lin.
Unless he got court side seats, of course.

I’m just wondering on how the administration is going to cook the books regarding the upcoming February unemployment figures. Gallop has a pretty good sense of things mid month and is forecasting a rise to 9%.

Oh what a game we play… Or are we being played?

At this point, they’re not fooling anyone.

If they are not enduring it themselves, people understand the pain that their neighbors are going through with unemployment, underemployment, over-employment (the act of doing the work of your now-laid-off colleagues along with your own work). People have figured out that the the unemployment figures are being rigged to show the Marxist in the White House in a good light.

People are not fooled one single bit by the government telling them that there is little to no inflation. They know full well that food and fuel are (magically) not part of that equation. Prices are through the roof, wages are not, taxes are on their way up – way up, wages are not.

As a welder combines acetylene and oxygen to cut steel, Obama is combining Alinsky with Cloward & Piven to cut this nation apart.

Truthfully, it will not be enough to simply vote this man and his underlings out of office. This is not like Jimmy Carter, where he just wasn’t up to the job, this is deliberate malfeasance. This man is actively trying to kill this nation.

Every day that goes by, a few more people see the light.

If they can force certain lightbulbs, toilets, food and Obamacare on us, they can eventually force certain cars on us.

“Newt being Newt” is just what I want him to be as our next President.
