San Francisco 49ers star Richard Sherman is known for lending a helping hand to those in need. He has done it again.  Sherman gave $7,491.27 to Cabrillo Middle School in Santa Clara, CA, and $20,000 to the Tacoma Public Schools in Tacoma, WA, to pay off school lunch debts. He also used to play for the Seattle Seahawks.

Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey rocked the NBA earlier this month in a now-deleted tweet when he voiced support for those in Hong Kong. The tweet caused backlash in China, which led the NBA to fix its PR in the communist nation instead of backing one of their own. Rockets fans, though, showed common sense during the home opener.

So bold. So brave! During the medal ceremony at the Pan Am Games in Lima, Peru, Fencer Race Imboden kneeled during the playing of American National Anthem. Imboden was protesting, "racism, gun control, mistreatment of immigrants and President Donald Trump," reports CNN.
